SO hot! The outside temperatures are in the 100s because it's JULY in Texas. We were worn out from traveling and decided to stay a night here. The plan was to get to the room, put on pajamas, brush our teeth and go straight to sleep. However, when we opened the door a huge wave of hot air came out...no air was on at all. By the time we got ready for bed, we were all dripping with sweat. None of us could even begin to go to sleep for at least 45 minutes because the air conditioner was taking so long to cool down the room. The sweet employee at the front desk told me that it would be that way in all the rooms when I called to ask it that was typical. I would give the room a higher rating, but that made our short stay there miserable and we didn't get the good rest we needed because we were all so miserably hot.

Family vaction The hotel looked to be older. But the rooms are really updated nice flat screen TVs cold air. Very comfortable beds. The rooms are pretty clean. My only downside was the first day the pool was not that clean. The lady at the front desk she usually works the mornings to like evenings was very helpful and nice. I will recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through.

It was a meh experience After a very long day of driving and making it through Dallas, I needed to stop for a few hours sleep. This Econo-Lodge is right off I-35 making it easy to find. I stayed in room 216 upstairs, which if I remember might've faced I-35. The parking lot was well lit, and the grounds typical of an older motel, nothing remarkable. 216 had a king size bed which was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The furniture was old and showed wear, there was nothing fancy or comfortable about the hard plastic chairs. The bathroom wasn't in terrible shape, but the carpet in the room could've used a deep clean. The a/c worked well, and the only real issue I had was the constant traffic noise from I-35.

Mold I was hesitant to book this motel and I should have stuck with my gut instinct. The room was decent in size. BUT, there was mold in the in room coffee maker and the bathroom was dirty. Especially the shower chair. We had a handicap accessible room for my mother who was with us. There was dog food in the corner of the room and hair on the sheet. The curtain didn’t close enough, thankfully we had a safety pin to remedy the situation. We did not eat breakfast because of the mold in the in room coffee maker.
