Great Hotel!!! Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and wonderful breakfasts. The breakfast team are a stand out especially Mia & Ellie who goes to great lengths to ensure you have a great start to the day. In the reception is a fantastic host Julia who always welcomes you and ensures you are well looked after. My go to hotel at Gatwick.

Not worth the money We experienced a number of issues during our stay and left feedback on their own survey and received an automated response. I wrote back to both the General Manager and reservations to say I felt we deserved more of a response but apparently I don't. We booked a package with arrival bubbles and afternoon tea and dinner, which reception was unaware of. The room we were given was stuffy and unappealing. We were ready to check out and leave but the Operations Manager was brilliant and gave an upgrade and made sure were looked after. Breakfast was mediocre at best and on check out dinner was charged to the bill. It was removed but it showed no attention to detail. The package wasn't cheap and we feel if the hotel can't deliver on its promises then don't sell that package.

Little haven near Gatwick This is a little haven not far from Gatwick. It's a really peaceful and beautiful spot off the busy roads with a nice restaurant, cosy bar and comfortable rooms. The staff really make the place, they are very kind and welcoming. We shall certainly use the hotel again due to its proximity to Gatwick and the very charming place it is.

Afternoon Tea vegan veggie regular We went for afternoon tea on a Saturday so £3 extra charge per person. Lovely quant stately home feel. The staff were amazing so lovely and helpful couldn't do enough for you. Lovely posh toilets. Everywhere really clean. We had 2 vegan 1 veggie 1 regular afternoon tea all delicious. Rare for a vegan one to be so nice with different sandwiches. Lovely cakes unlimited teas coffees vast selection. The only downside was the vegan scones were horrible where the regular scones were lovely mum said. Nice that you can go in the gardens for a drink. Not cheap but lovely service and surroundings. Not at all rushed. Impeccable service. Service charge included but we were asked was we happy to pay which we was but would have left a bigger til. Been before and will definitely go again

Avoid Access road requires a 4x4, damaged car driving up their track. Room damp, stuffy and not decorated for 50 years. Shower broken as was my back after sleeping in awful bed with equally awful pillows. Radiator in bathroom stuck on in July, taps as good as the shower. Just a totally miserable experience, don’t do this to yourself.
