Go somewhere else A more unprofessional reception/ breakfast staff you won’t find. I’ll be brief. Tried to check in at 3, didn’t get my room until 4.45. The coffee machine, fridge, and microwave didn’t work. I found it was the electrical socket they were plugged in to was at fault, not the appliances. The air con unit wouldn’t turn off. On leaving, I told the man on reception what I had found, and he evidently didn’t care, as he didn’t write it down nor ask any question. On checking out, the woman asked how was my stay, I replied “not great”….and that was it. No response asking how could things be improved…notion at all. The room decor was really good.

Would Always Recommend Very Homey. Awesome staff, especially Mr. Espy and Mr. Kelly. Hotel is located in a quiet location. Opposite is a Cajun Restauran and there's a hospital close by. It's located on the East Side, so there's not hassle with the rush hour traffic.

The smell of mold is over powering. I just want you to know what you are getting into before booking. The smell is so strong you can literally taste it. I would leave right now but it was midnight when we got here and my family is too exhausted to drive any further. Someone from the health department needs to get their behind over and get this place in shape!

Needs a good Scrubbing I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and found it very clean and well kept. Amazing what a difference a few years makes. While the room I had was acceptable, it did not have any soap, mouthwash, etc. Nor did it have a note pad or pen to write with. The bed was comfortable but I was not comfortable in the the cleanliness of the room given the state of the rest of the facility. While the parking lot was well lit, the outside yard area was full of weeds, cigarette butts and generally in poor condition. Mold was visible on the portico and other walls. Every window I looked out of or into, was filmy, smudged, and provided poor disability. The paint on elevator and door jams was all scarred and peeling. Handwritten notes were on display throughout the facility. The whole place just needed a good scrubbing and general maintenance.

Decent Marriott, good location This is a decent Marriott with decent rooms that are up-to-date modern and have nice Linens. Free parking. Free breakfast in the morning. Good front desk service very friendly. Location is on one of the main strips or there are a lot of restaurants and stores.
