Could be much cleaner. Bugs in one room. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms. First room we noticed the floor needed sweeping and mopping. Then we noticed bugs crawling. Girl at the desk changed our room quickly. Second room no bugs, but same issue with the floors. Beds and pillows were good. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Tear it down I work in the area from time to time and have for years. I have stayed at many hotels over the years. Regarding this one...Just tear it down and use the land for another purpose. Other reviews are accurate... this place should just call it day. Probably built in the 1970's and it looks it. It is just another piece of junk in the Houma area from the long gone oilfield days that needs to be torn down as a blight on the landscape. The entire area was in serious decline before Ida hit, and now it is just that much worse. This hotel is just a reminder of how bad of a place it is now. If you do have to come to the area, pick another hotel.. and maybe another town too if possible.

Great staff, rooms and grounds, not so much The people here couldn’t be nicer but the promises really need a lot of work some of this is due to storm damage and is being repaired. I saw several cockroaches in my room see pictures for the linens and various other similar issues with room and grounds. I really hope they’re able to get this place back to where it was

Horrible place Booked two nights but upon arrival, we couldn't imagine staying beyond the one night that was already charged to my card, The room was old and in poor condition. The beds were reasonable, but the last straw was the infestation of roaches in the room. I mean they were so many that you couldn't count them all. The walls, floor, and sink had many but the worst was in the bathroom. I realize Houma got hit very hard with the Hurricane, but this was intolerable. It was like camping without the stars. In her favor, Monica at the front desk was understanding about why we needed to cancel the second night through Expedia. Also, Robinette was helpful during my visit.
