Hilton Medical Plaza This is an absolutely fabulous Hotel. Shelly at the front desk was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the property. The Suite we stayed in was Fabulous. Suite was very well appointed and very clean. The pool deck was also very spacious and well maintained. I would highly recommend the property.

A beacon of hope at a dark time My wife and I had a family emergency and drove straight from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to Houston. We did not think about making a reservation because our minds were elsewhere. We had family that were already staying at the Hilton so we inquired about the possibility of getting a room. We were doubtful because of the fact we didn’t have a reservation but the staff at the front desk were understanding and happy to assist with our request. The hotel is Beautiful and the staff was Great! And the bed was so soft I had the Best night sleep I ever had in my life.

Comfortable and Near Medical Center After a bit of a Rocky Start with a somewhat Snarky front desk clerk (which was resolved by a chat with the GM) my stay was pretty much as expected. I found from the GM that their Digital Key system is down, which caused the need for ID, Credit Card, and Hard Room Key, and my snarky encounter with the “supervisor” at the desk. I received a nice upgrade to a 1BR Suite. It was generally in good repair and clean. Not new feeling, but also not old. The wallpaper was peeling, which no matter how clean the room is, always seems a little sad. HVAC worked well. Their Breakfast Buffet isn’t “fancy”, but flavorful and fresh. Most importantly, they discount so my $15 Daily Diamond Credit basically covered it. I only had to pay the gratuity for the server. Their Ice Machines are down, so you’ll find zip lock bags of ice in coolers which leak, leaving the Tile Floor very slick. Luckily I caught myself before going down. Not the most hygienic, I passed. They amazingly have a guest laundry. 1 set of machines on 11. Clean and well maintained. Departure was quick and friendly. If you park, be sure to use the hang tag with a barcode, as your room key won’t get you out of the garage. I’d stay again.

Convenient to medical district and staff was pleasant and helpful The check in was easy . We are Hilton Diamond members and they upgraded our room to a suite which was very nice . The breakfast was good and the proximity to the medical area was great The parking g was $20 which is less than one pays in downtown San Antonio. The room was quiet and the bed was clean and comfortable. The Keurig coffee pot did not work but I informed the desk at check out and feel they will fix that problem . All in all it was a good stay and we will plan to stay again

Great hotel Very comfortable hotel close to the medical center and Rice University. When I got there, the hotel was a chaos because of the hurricane, but staff was attentive and optimistic despite the circumstances. It is just 5 minutes walk ro the hospitals and close to the red metro line.
