Very helpful Scott and Karen in the kitchen were super sweet and helpful. We come for business every year. We bring our cooler for long days and they hooked us up with ice rather than standing at the ice machine for 20 minutes. Also our fridge was out in the room and they brought is a new one within a few hours.

A bit tired Our room was a bit of a disappointment. We had stayed at a different Holiday Inn Express the night before. While the room had the same design, this one was tired and dirty. The floor was cleaned with something that made it sticky and left prints in the floor. Fridge had no freezer compartment and the HVAC didn’t work well. Mattress was depressed in the middle. Location wasn’t great either in that there isn’t much to walk two other than the restaurant (which looked good) next door.

Great Hotel Excellent stay! I spoke with Linda prior to our visit. I told her we were traveling with a service dog and needed a handicap accessible room. She got us taken care of with the perfect room for our situation. The room was very clean and roomy. I especially enjoyed the magnifying mirror in the bathroom! I hope this is a new addition to all IHG hotels! The breakfast area was clean & the food was hot & ready at 6 AM. The coffee was great,,,not too strong or weak. We will definitely stay here again!

Surprised Well, I wanted to give it more than 3 stars, but I couldn't. The interaction with all of the staff was AMAZING, but the consistent centipedes in the shower for 3 days was sad. I have stayed in so many hotels across the country from 5 star to 1 star I have never had to deal with critters. Then there was the fact the elevator was out, we were in town for family funeral, and we had family over 75 years old doing the stairs our entire trip - sad. The rooms overall were very nice and clean, bed was comfortable too. Outside needs to have weeds pulled and landscaping trimmed, and curbing and sidewalks need attention as well. I share all of that - to say I would stay again and others should give a go as well - again - staff were amazing and breakfast was great too!

Read the IMPORTANT NOTICE on the website then make up your own mind. I read it. Played it by ear. Had a nice weekend. When I booked our 2 night stay, I saw an IMPORTANT NOTICE on the website that said, “No weapons allowed on property.” Really? Whatever!! I booked the stay anyways and figured I’d cross that bridge when I got to it. When I got to the bridge, there was no signage, no metal detectors. So I discreetly exercised my Second Amendment rights just like I do in my home state (which has a reciprocal agreement with Missouri) and nobody was ever the wiser. Until now. That established…we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well located, well lit, and had numerous cameras monitoring the property. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. There were several softball teams (and their families/chaperones) that stayed the same 2 nights as us and I made it a point to personally compliment the breakfast staff on how well they kept up with the demands of so many hungry athletes showing up for breakfast at pretty much the same time. The proximity to I-70, US-40, etc…the numerous restaurants (both fast-food and sit-down) nearby for meals other than breakfast…We’ll stay here again if we’re ever in the area again. Unless they read this review and blacklist me.
