"Iron Mountain Accommodation" Even though the exterior is old school, the rooms seem to be recently remodeled. The hot breakfast was worth it offering eggs, sausage, bagels, pancakes, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. It was pretty pricey, given the area. The biggest downside was that there was no where we could gather with our large group (that did not incur an additional fee). The pool itself and its area was very small, and has not been updated. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive.

No issues Had a last minute check in really late. The front desk was accommodating and got us in quickly. The breakfast was really good with lots of options. The hotel was quiet and clean with no issues. The pull out couch was a plus

Holiday inn Iron Mountain Michigan The staff were super friendly. The ladies in the breakfast area keep everything clean and neat and work very hard. The beds were super comfortable. The pool was ok it could have been warmer in the pool area. I think having more garbage cans in the rooms would be helpful.

Could have been better When I arrived there was only one person working the desk, which was fine. I was given my key and went up to my "suite" Unfortunately it was the only room available because of the ski jumping competition going on there. Of course that meant I had to spend close to 40% more than what the room usually goes for. The room was fine, it had a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and a small sitting area. The only issue was the heat. Apparently, it is either on and really hot or off and then gets cold. It is totally the thermastat issue. I tried to regulate but couldn't. I did tell the front desk and she said she could come and see if she could help. Unless she was in maintenance it wasn't going to work so I said NO. I did suggest that they look at it before the next customer comes. I was there for a funeral and 2 nights and was surprised that there was no housekeeping for my days. I did see a housekeeper in the hall and explained that I was going to need towels and she handed me a few towels. Personally, for $200 a night the least they could do is clean. But oh well. For the cost and the issue of the heat, I probably would not stay there again.
