Memorial Day 2023 weekend trip!!! We visited Dallas for Memorial Day weekend. Upon our arrival on Friday, May 26 we were put in room 356. When we entered the room the AC was on but it was very warm and smelled kind of like a basement. We turned the temperature down to about 68 to cool the room. We left to visit family in the area and returned about 10PM (7 hours later). When we opened the door the room smelled worse. It smelled very moldy. At this point my wife was irate and she went down to the front desk to complain. She spoke to Tynesha. Tynesha was the absolute nicest person, she advised my wife that she would check on the issue and try to get us another room. 10 minutes after my wife spoke to her, Tynesha called and asked us to meet her at Room 205. To our delight, room 205 was perfect and Tynesha assigned us to that room for the remainder of our trip. We stayed until Tuesday, May 30 with no further issues. Tynesha turned a potentially bad situation into a great weekend in Dallas. Extra big THANK YOU to Tynesha. The entire staff was very nice including the bartender on duty on Sunday, May 28.

Would not recommend What a dissatisfying experience! I didn’t have high standards but I didn’t want to share my room with other guests aka roaches. This hotel was dirty .The hallway smelt like raid and mold! The kicker was the roach on the counter. Bed feels like a board and the sheets were thin and hard. Will not be staying here again.

Cozy and quiet We were at an event at the nearby Irving Convention Center, and this hotel was super convenient to getting to and from the center. Plus, it was attractive because it was more affordable than some of the closer, fancier hotels. You can tell that this was a really nice hotel when it was built. It still has those hallmarks, but it does look a bit worn in places. We found the desk staff friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, and we had a good night's sleep. Our room faced the inner courtyard and was probably quieter than those facing the freeway. It was very quiet and cozy. I definitely recommend this hotel.

WORST Hotel Experience EVER I'd highly suggest you don't stay at this hotel. I've traveled a ton over the years for business and pleasure. From various countries to countless states, I've stayed in both great and so so hotels. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It turns out the feeling was mutual from many of my friends that were also staying there for a convention we were at. The bathroom shelf where the hair dryer and extra toilet paper rolls are kept had powder on it. What would you think white powder on the counter is? For that reason I wasn't going to touch it. Totally not cleaned or dusted. The toilet paper on the roll had very little left so they didn't change it since the last person used it. The shower had hair on the wall which showed me that wasn't cleaned either. When I took a shower and went to dry off the first towel had what appeared to be a human waste stain on it and the next one had makeup. It looks like the towels weren't cleaned and just folded up again. I went down to talk to the front desk staff who seemed like I was bothering them rather than caring about the disgusting situation. That made me think it happens often there. They agreed to take one night off my bill for the trouble. They said to stay down in the lobby and they'd get it taken care of right away. I needed to get going to the convention I was attending so after an hour I went back up to grab my stuff. There was no housekeeping staff working on my room. I sat in the lobby for an hour for nothing. It was still a mess. I went to the convention, got back hours later and found a little gift bag with a bottle of water, a little breakfast bar and chocolate kisses along with a card from the staff saying how sorry they were and that my room was now clean for me. My room was just how I left it. Nothing was clean. My bed wasn't made, the hairs were still on the shower wall, the stained towels were still there and the powered was still on the counter. I called down to the front desk and they said I had to leave my room again so they could send someone up to clean it. I wanted to get a quick nap in before I headed out for a party with friends, but couldn't because they kicked me out of my room yet again to clean. Why put a card and gift saying it was clean and they knew it wasn't? I'm an easygoing person and this was the first time I've ever complained to a hotel manger. Now I'm even more upset because they didn't clean it after making me stay out of my room. I paid for a room and needed / wanted to use it. So instead of getting a much needed nap in I stay down in the lobby and then head out to the convention party. I get back a few hours later. My bed was made, I had new towels and what else did I find? Hair was still on the shower walls and the powder was still on the counter. I called the front desk again and they sent someone up along with the housekeeper to check it out. Now for the third time I'm asked to leave my room and sit out in the lobby. After being asked to leave my room three times the room was finally clean. If I brought a black light with me who knows what I would have seen on the bed, floors, walls, etc. I tried to get in touch with the manager over the phone a few times, but she was always busy. The elderly man that is the front desk manager in the evenings talked with me once over the phone and was laughing as I told him what happened. Laughing at a hotel guest that had issues with their room? He said they will not do anything else for me as far as a room comp or money off and they'd be happy to cancel my remaining nights and I could stay someplace else. ??? Now I'm the bad guy? I was given a free night because of the dirty towels, the white powder on the counter and the hair on the shower wall. That was one incident and then having to leave my room and deal with it two more times, I'm told the best they can do to make it up to me is to have me leave and try to book someplace else? The owner really needs to get better staff at the desk there. The convention I was at had so many people complain about this hotel they said they aren't going to put it on their list of hotels in the area for their next convention. The only thing that was halfway decent there was their breakfast buffet and the staff taking care of that. Other than that, it was bad. There are plenty of other choices in the area. Don't stay here. After this experience I might be looking at other hotels instead of this chain.

Not worth it! We have spent 2 nights here I was disappointed to not have the usual amenities such as a hair dryer, grab bar in the shower and a microwave the hallways are not carpeted so you hear all the clattering and sounds from housekeeping and other guests they do not want food from the breakfasts to be taken back to the room the breakfast was meager at best there was also a gap around the door The beds were comfortable and the room clean though
