Horseback riding We booked the 1 hour horseback riding experience with Spring Creek Ranch for my family including my 6 year old daughter. My 4 year old stayed back at the corral and did the 20 min pony ride. The horses all looked well taken care of, but going up and down the slopes seem to strain them as their legs would buckle when going downhill. The views of the elk refuge and Grand Tetons were spectacular. At the top, our guides quickly took some photos for us on the side without a view and we were all spread out and looked very unorganized (wished they turned us around to take with the Grand Tetons in the background). The trail and views were incredible, but the experience fell short as it felt more like a business transaction (like herding the cattle) and it was tough seeing all the horses legs buckle long the trail.

Go somewhere else For $500 a night, Spring Creek Ranch was a big disappointment. It's in a beautiful setting, but is "rustic" at best. It started out with the "queen" unit that we selected. I didn't take measurements, but the bed (a Murphy) certainly looked much more like a full bed than a queen. When we complained, they moved us to the unit next door, with king bed. The unit that they moved us into was lacking. The first thing that we noticed was the horrible stains all over the carpet. We joked to each other that it looked like a murder scene. The rest of the unit was okay enough, but looked 20 years past when it should have received a facelift. The water temps in the shower were reversed from what was indicated on the handle, the small fridge was barely cold, the TVs were tiny and in a weird part of the room where we couldn't see them unless we sat on the floor. It all just looked cobbled together. We went down to use the hot tub, but it was more like a luke warm tub and the bubbles didn't work. I get that summers in Jackson are high season and everything is expensive, but I've had better experiences at $79 Holiday Inns. I expected more based on the string Tripadvisor reviews.

Lovely view and awesome tours We stayed at Spring Creek Ranch in June 2024 and would stay again. The property was beautiful and the views cannot be beat. The view of the Grand Teton mountain range out the sliding door was why we will be returning. We also had 3 little mule deer visit our backyard and loved watching them eat and lounge around. HIGHLY recommend going up to the ridge to watch the sunrise/sunsets or just take in the views. The rooms are dated but it was clean and comfortable. It did not have AC but we never needed it with the breeze coming in through the windows. The concierge was extremely helpful in booking all our activities. We did 2 tours with the Spring Creek Ranch guides/ naturalists. We did the Best of Grand Teton and Best of Yellowstone tours with George, Jacob and Elaina/Alana (unsure on spelling). They were wonderful, informative, and very invested in making sure we had a nice time and saw lots of animals! We saw moose, elk, proghorn, coyote, a black bear and two cubs, a grizzly bear, bison, golden eye duck, eagles, sage grouse, and more. We would absolutely take the tours again! We thought it would be long days in the car but it went by too quickly and we were always entertained. The continental breakfast and the tour lunch aren’t much to look forward too, so if you have high standards I recommend packing your own! The breakfast was yogurt, granola, a bagel, cream cheese, and OJ. Lunch was a ham or turkey sandwich with chips.

Amazing Ranch Experience! I can not say enough good things about Spring Creek Ranch! I organized a trip for my team's corporate retreat and this was the PERFECT place. The team was a pleasure to work with and the accommodations were great. We enjoyed a variety of activities (horseback riding, national park tours, hiking, and white water rafting) and meals around Jackson Hole with the help of Samantha and Miriam on the Spring Creek staff and were thrilled all around. We also wanted to shout out Jack, George, Laura, and Jayson for contributing to our great experience. I definitely recommend this spot for groups of friends, family, or business teams.

Disappointing Not what I expected. The property itself is beautiful. Staff was very nice. My family of four stayed in a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condo. The decor itself was very dated , No AC ( apparently none of the units have AC), carpets were stained , fridge had an odor. Dryer was not working properly despite two attempts to fix. We flew home with a suitcase of damp clothes. Overall would not stay here again unless unit was updated and appliance in working condition - not for the price. Outside property was very clean and well maintained.
