COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER PROs -reasonably priced for being only 10-15 minutes from JFK airpot -comfortable bed -lots of pressure and hot water -nice front desk person -good sized room and very clean CONs -seedy location. One can't go out of the hotel -no food available and you can't go out walking around -front desk all sealed up with bullet proof material which scared me that I chose wrong hotel -questionable looking people hanging out in the lobby. I saw one lady from outside and get into the elevator with her pajamas, robe and slippers. Very bizzare. -NO SHUTTLE. They need a shuttle esp. being so close. Get together with other hotels and offer a shuttle service. I ended up paying $28 for an UBER.

One of my worst IHG experiences! The hotel is located in a very dirty part of Jamaica. The front desk is behind bullet proof glass as I imagine crime must be high in the area. There was no recognition of my diamond status nor was I offered points or water. There are no amenities which can be purchased - no soda, chips, etc. Getting to the hotel by the Air train from JFK is convenient and the room was clean. However, under no circumstances would I ever stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

They cancelled our reservation without notifying us. We booked a hotel room for the end of July in February using points (my husband is an IHG member). The day before our stay, we checked our reservation (we were outside the country) to request a shuttle from JFK airport, when we found out that our reservation was cancelled!!! We never cancelled it, and we never received any notification about it. With less than 24 hours before our international flight from Spain we had to find another hotel for us and our kids. We ended up in another hotel of the IHG chain that did not accept points for the room and far for the airport and no shuttle, so we had to take a couple of taxis. In the end, that cost us more than $500. It looks like we are not the first ones that have this problem with this hotel. We tried to reach the hotel by email, but they never contacted us back. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Booking cancelled by hotel at last minute We booked to stay one night at this hotel 2 months in advance. We received notification that our booking was cancelled as we were travelling to catch our plane in New Zealand, 24 hrs before our arrival. The excuse was that they had issues with plumbing or the like mbut we subsequently heard that they were overbooked and just dumped us. No offer from them to find us alternative accommodation while we were in transit (15 hrs in the air) or the like. We do not recommend anyone book with such a hotel that treats its customers this way. Luckily we did manage to find another less convenient hotel because it was not the weekend, when almost every hotel was booked up.

Okay for a nut down It's okay for a nut down if you want to get close to JFK airtrain which costs $8.00 to top up a card or an additional $1.00 to buy a metro pass. Room was clean, good WiFi, microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. Bathroom stocked with soaps, gels etc. Good comfy bed. Didn't try breakfast which starts at 0700 as we left at 0500 am
