Hidden Gem for business travel!! I cannot speak highly enough of the staff here. Rick, Heather, Chris and the whole team have gone above and beyond to make my extended stay comfortable. Hospitality comes second nature to them, and I honestly feel like a guest in their home. Clean rooms and linens. Covid policies in place and followed. Would highly recommend!!!

Avoid this place This place is a pit. Our room smelled terrible. The ac only half worked. There is a dehumidifier in the room blowing out warm air. Not a good mix with the half functioning ac. Asked for another room, but they are sold out. The front desk guy came down and checked the room and assured us the air conditioning was working because it was cool in here. His cool and my cool are two totally different temperatures for sure. Used to stay at Fairfield Inns all the time. However our last few experiences have pretty much sealed the deal. We are done with them. They have become Marriott’s slum hotels.

Driving through The hotel is right by the river and the trees surrounding the hotel are absolutely beautiful. It is Spring. The check in process was seem less and the employee was very friendly. You can tell that they may have just updated a little in the rooms. They are clean and comfy. Great place to stop for the night. There is an indoor pool but we didn’t check it out. Grab and go breakfast.

So bad, I canceled my 7 night stay. Booked something else on the spot. I made my reservation never having stayed in or seen this hotel before. I have been repeatedly staying in other Fairfield inn and suites and loved them, so this booking seemed like a no brainer. I arrived and checked in, loaded my 7 nights worth of luggage on the handy rack they supplied, and went to the elevator. Immediately on entering the interior hallway, I felt something was ‘off’. The place felt damp, and there was surprisingly little ventilation. I went to my room, but the pervasive mold smell, ‘moist’ feeling in the air, and eery quiet and empty feeling quickly made me uneasy. I looked around the room, and tried to convence myself it was just an older building, but it was more than that. When I noticed the broke -looking air humidifier unit in the seating area, which I have never seen in any hotel in ky, IN, or OH, I felt a bit validated: obviously there was a problem with the ventilation, and the likelihood of actual mold being the smell I was finding it hard to ignore suddenly increased in my mind. I tried to imagine sleeping there. It was quiet. However, I caught a glimpse of a rim of grease beneath the lampshade on one of the bedside tables, and realized I would just feel continuously anxious if I did try to sleep here. Of note, when I went down and told the staff at the front desk that I wanted to check out and cancel my 7 night reservation, he seemed completely unsurprised, did not even ask why I was leaving not even 15 minutes after checking in, and just completed the checkout. Very friendly and polite. When I went out and loaded my things right back into the car, I noted that an unmarked van that had been right on the other side of the parking lot since before I arrived, and had two men in the front who were not talking, had windows open, we’re playing music, and seemed to be just content to be there in the parking lot, we’re still there. They kept their faces just out of view. I was very uncomfortable when I realized they were not talking, not smoking, and just sitting, waiting it seemed. This was the first time I had ever been weirded out by a van. I was so relieved once I pulled out and left that place behind for good!

Do Not stay here I am only rating this a 1 because the 2 ladies at the front desk were so nice and helpful. 1st lets start with the rooms, we got 2 rooms because there are 7 of us the room the kids were in smelled like cigar smoke. All windows were unlocked in both rooms. 2nd room, we had a continually running toilet , the peep holes were stuffed with Kleenex, the cord plug to the floor lamp was cut off, there were socks and garbage under our bed, there are marks on the door like someone tried to pry the door open, and then there are huge spaces between the floor and the bottom of the door and same with the side of the door. Didn’t feel safe what so ever. The pool area was disgusting the water was cloudy, there was weave in the water and the filter lid was loose and cut my sons foot. Hot tub empty, I even called and asked about the pool area due to having 5 kids who needed to get some energy out after a 13hr car ride. The “secured” side door that you need a key to get into was unlocked. 1 positive note the bedding smelt like bleach so I know they were changed and clean and beds were very comfortable.
