Great place, lots of space Spending the night away from home, stuck in the car with everyone, what I want in a hotel is space. And this place has it! I need to remember this - because it's literally like long-term temporary living would work here. Big rooms, comfortable, quiet and clean. Conveniently right off the interstate. We wanted someplace close to Grand Falls, which was so small but perfect. Short drive into town to see some Route 66 murals. We liked this place.

Good not great Passing thru on the way home from a 2 week vacation. Staff super friendly room was a little tired. Fridge was super clean on inside but was a little rough looking on the outside especially on sink side. Cool little closet to bathroom AC worked great and husband loved the Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwich. Right off freeway which is nice. They did have a cute little map of places to eat.

Awful Smell So I don't know if I have room to complain, because I got the last room and the guy at the front desk was really good about it. But when I pulled up to the hotel, I had to let the phone ring about 20 times before he opened the door. I was afraid I wasn't going to get in. After a quick and easy check in, my little dog and I got up to the room and were bowled over by a stench that I've never smelled in a hotel room before. At first I thought it was from the previous pet, but he would have had to poop and pee all over the apartment to make such a smell. I called for the front desk and the guy didn't seem to know what I was talking about but said that possibly the last customer was cooking something in here. I just can't believe they didn't put an ozone machine in here. I am now in bed and the window is wide open, and the smell is still extremely strong. I noticed there's plaster coming off the window frame, and there's no luck in track so I'm putting my suitcase on the floor. I don't know what it is, but almost every hotel room I've ever stayed at in Missouri has been a disappointment or nightmare.

Everything You Would Want This hotel provides all you would want when traveling. The rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable. They are well equipped for either a long or short stay. The service from staff is top notch. The location is convenient for Joplin area attractions and for getting back on the interstate if you are just passing through.

follow up review To follow up on my previous review from this spring, I've now stayed here about six times, working at a local hospital, and this is still an excellent hotel: it's super clean, quiet, and the staff is great. So I'll keep coming back.
