If you are traveling to Katy and need a place to stay good value and location This is my 2nd stay at this hotel and again nothing bad to say. Room is comfortable and roomy, staff is fine and location is convenient to all things. The pool was very clean and usable the only bad was computer room was out of service my time there.

Outdated I was staying to one of the nicest Hampton inns I had ever been too in Galveston Texas then came to Katy. This place is so outdated it’s incredible. The Hampton in my city has been updated twice and this one probably never. The room was musty and mattress was lump and springing. It was not impressive at all. The back hallway/lot door also stays open and unattended all the time the side walk is too high for the door ledge and keeps the door from closing it’s a major security issue. The hotel does say it’s remodeling but we where not offered a new room. I bought a couple things up to staff but there was never a follow hiltons says they guarantee a satisfactory or money back but clearly not here. Wildlife in our room we had multiple lizards in our room they where harmless but what a shame. The room was clean. The staff was nice and where very approachable. The breakfast was always ready and decent.

False Accusation/Terrible Customer Service I booked and checked into this location on May 24, 2024 for a three night stay. When we got to our room, we noticed the toilet bowl and bathtub needed some cleaning and so called the receptionist. The receptionist sent one of the housekeeping staff upstairs to address the issues. Meanwhile, we started to unpack and prepare for our stay. As we were doing that, we noticed some white dust in the corner of the floor/carpet that meets the wall. We wondered if it was vacuum cleaning powder or construction dust. So we decided to ask the English-challenged housekeeping staff when she was done with the bathroom. She signaled what looked like “I know what to do”, and then got her cleaner and sponge. She started to clean the dust while we were settling down. She eventually left the room after trying to clean some of the dust. Shortly after, the receptionist called to say the manager asked us to leave the premises. I was confused! I asked why and she said something about the housekeeper and white dust. I then recapped what transpired and she said she would send the manager upstairs to see. The manager knocked, and we opened the door. She said we needed to leave, and I asked why? She said the housekeeper told her we put the white dust there!!! I could not believe my ears but proceeded to explain to her what happened, and even asked her to come into the room to see for herself. She refused saying she did not need to because the housekeeper would never lie to her. So I asked if she was taking the housekeeper’s word against ours, and she asserted the housekeeper had never lied to her the 15 years she knew her. She went on to boldly accuse us of putting the dust there. I asked her why she was so sure we did and she just kept saying over and over again that we did it. She also said she was in the room earlier in the day, and did not see any dust. Meanwhile, she refused to come in to see considering the possibility she may have overlooked that part of the room. She did not want to listen or even think about the situation. It felt like her position was based on our appearance and nothing else. It felt like she had a preconceived notion about us based on our looks. Otherwise there is no other way to explain her bold accusation. I have been a Hilton member for years and have never been treated in such indignity by any other Hilton member establishment, any establishment, or anyone for that matter. Needless to say, we left the hotel shocked, disappointed and angry.

Bye money. We didn't actually stay here because we cancelled our refundable reservation. However since we got charged for it anyway and after an hour on the phone still don't have our refund, I think we have the right to say that the value for the money was absolutely dreadful.

Your typical Hampton Inn This Hampton Inn is a typical Hampton. Rooms were about average for style and decor, although large. Bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels. The breakfast was typical, but organized in a logical manner. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was very polite.
