Nice visit, enjoyed our stay I was worried because I had read some bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and neat, employees were friendly. There was a nice hot breakfast with a good selection. Our room was clean and comfortable. We encountered no problems except that there was no airport shuttle running.

Not as Advertised!!! The reason for the low score is because, I specifically picked this hotel because it says it has a free airport shuttle, I called to request the shuttle upon my arrival at the airport and was told there was not one, and to take a taxi or Uber. I asked if they would reimburse the taxi or Uber fare and was told "No". Upon my arrival at the hotel, I politely advised the desk personnel my displeasure of not having an airport shuttle that the web page (falsely) advertised having and requested a discount on the room for the inconvenience and added money I had to pay for the Uber. I received a short and very quick response of "NO". The web page also shows that there is a pool and hot tub, but (the web page) did state that the pool was closed due to COVID and the hot tub was not heated. The COVID excuse is a very outdated excuse (when all other hotels I have stayed in across the country have pools and hot tubs open) and the hot tub not being heated was true, because it had no water in it either and appeared to have been dry for a very long time. The room itself (2 King bedroom suite W/Jacuzzi) was decent. The furniture was a little outdated but was clean. In the morning, I went to the front desk to inquire about the airport shuttle (different staff) and was told there was none again. This is totally false advertising and the company should update the webpage to let patrons know what amenities you really have. I was/am very disappointed with this hotel, it gives Choice Hotels a black eye for the other franchises.

Just the Basics Our room was clean, but the stairwell was dirty like a construction zone. Okay, not friendly, staff. Breakfast: Unflavored cream for coffee. Hot sausage and eggs plus pastries & bread, fruit (bruised bananas, oranges, apples), boiled eggs, yogurt. Treadmill in small exercise room was broken. Indoor swimming pool had peeling brown paper, maybe for privacy, over windows. Location is near a run down neighborhood. Shuttle was inoperable. The whole stay just felt shabby.

Comfort Suites don’t get the hospitality industry! This hotel is a dump. We arrived in the middle of the night . The front desk clerk should have been the first clue. We got to our room and the lightbulbs were burnt out of the lamps or the lights just didn’t work? Not sure which. The lamp shades had stains and cracks in them. The beds were hard and lumpy. The air conditioner was on but smelled strongly of mold. Microwave had been used by precious guests and not wiped out. At breakfast the scrambled eggs were floating in water? Or just not cooked all the way? The sausage was sry and hard as a rock. You had a choice of three cereals ( not anything a kid would eat) , plain oatmeal or grits ( packaged). The bread was didnt need toasting it was dry and stale. There was peach or raspberry yogurt and some past its prime mushy bananas and apples. We passed on “breakfast”. We asked the manager who was just lurking in the area if he would turn on local news. He just said thank you and walked away. There were a couple of men in the area-not watching the tv. The entire hotel smelled weird-moldy and some other weird smell. Pool is inoperable and they had a sign posted saying there was no airport shuttle either. Very expensive for such poor service, dirty outdated rooms, and no amenities.Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the other hotels!

Acceptable Only If … … if your most important selection criteria is being close to the airport, which is less than a ten minute drive away (even considering the construction going on all around that area). Otherwise, we would not recommend this hotel as all other aspects of our experience here sub par. For example: 1. This hotel is in bad need of a renovation. Our room had dated furniture, broken fixtures, sloppy caulking, and peeling paint. 2. Amenities like in-room coffee, soap, shampoo, and conditioner were bottom-shelf Walmart quality, which only shocked given the high cost of our one-night stay. 3. Hot breakfast was also of the cheapest quality: not sure if whether the “sausage” contained much meat, and if it did what kind of meat it was. We finished the powdered eggs and toast, but little else. 4. Talking on the phone to her pals, the night shift front desk clerk couldn’t manage to look directly at us or offer a single smile when we checked-in. She also didn’t offer us bed-linen for the sleep sofa, despite seeing three of us for a room with only one bed. We had to return to the front desk to beg for it. The only things making this a 3, and not a 2 star rating, was the comfortable bed and proximity to the airport.
