No housekeeping and no manager on duty How would you like to pay top dollar for a hotel room that goofed on housekeeping and doesn't have a manager on duty to resolve customer service issues? This is unacceptable. This hotel is broken. Skip it. The business card for the hotel manager doesn't allow you to actually reach the manager.

The management at this hotel is not honest. I recommend you never deal with these people.le On May 14, I booked a reservation for June 3-4 and 5th at The Holiday Inn in Kernersville NC through Hotels.com. Because of a change in my Business, I needed to cancel this booking and reschedule for a different time, the dates of which are not available yet. I called the Hotel today, March 25th and the desk clerk advised me that I had to call Hotel.com because the booking was made through them. The clerk was very helpful and gave me the number to call for Hotels.com. The reservationist at Hotels.com advised that he had to call the Hotel to process the cancelation and put me on hold. When he came back on the line he advised that the manager, a Mr. Orlando refused to cancel the reservation. On May 14 the Hotel charged $119.20 plus tax per night for the 3 nights stay. ($404.07) which is what I agreed to at the booking. However, even though I wanted to cancel 9 days before the booking date, he refused to refund my money. As a matter of fact he wanted me to pay $340.00 as a fine in order for him to do a cancellation. I worked for years at a resort on Fort Myers Beach, FLA as a front desk clerk, comptroller and GM for this multi million dollar resort. We never charged a no show fee if we were advised within 48 hours of the booking date. The owner would have fired any front desk person that would do that. We did charge a one night fee if we had not been notified of the no show situation. And here is the frosting on the cake. I logged back on to their site today and the rooms for those three days are now listed at $83.00 a night AND they only have 2 rooms available for those dates. According to the hotel manager this theft of customers booking money is their policy. My advice is don't deal with this hotel. There are other places to stay right down the road.

CLEAN - COMFORTABLE HOTEL I made my reservation using the Holiday Inn Website. Check-in was quick and I was in my room in short order. This hotel is located very close to Interstate 40, however I experienced no road noise in my room. I found my room to be very clean and well attended. The bed was comfortable and well made. The breakfast was well attended throughout the advertised time. The food was well stocked and I enjoyed the Pancake Machine. There was ample parking in a well lit onsite lot. The only hiccup was with the Wi-Fi. I attempted to connect several time without success. I ask the front desk attendant for assistance and they were not able to provide a solution or assistance. Overall this hotel met my basic Needs, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable,

Great breakfast The room was clean and the breakfast was great. We were next to the laundry room which wasn't ideal but that is the only drawback. We were visiting family in the area and would stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel, that location though….right next to an exit on I-40. Rooms are freshly redecorated from pics seen online but my “king suite” seemed sparsely furnished. Bed, pull out couch, usual nightstands by the bed and a dresser with cabinet for refrigerator that had TV on top as well as a desk / office chair. There was no folding luggage rack - instead a coffee table sized table with plastic strips to put our suitcases on was next to sofa. No end table shown in old pics nor a coffee table in from of sofa - so if you brought in takeout food there was truly no place to sit and eat other than the desk. There was not a not a full length mirror in the room, only mirror was above the counter top in the bath. My 3 rating is due to the unfinished feeling my room had. Did they forget to install the mirrored closet doors I saw in the open doors as I walked up the hallway ? I needed ti get my room key cards reprogrammed almost every time I left the room - frustrating. The hotels location and my lack of sleep also plays a huge part of my rating. Bed was comfortable but half of the hotel faces an exit ramp on I-40. Even with the fan running constantly it did not drown out the noise of trucks engine braking as they came to the stop light at the top of the ramp. I’d recommend you book a room on the side of the hotel away from the highway!! In room Keurig coffee maker was great King suite had nice size jetted tub Best part of our stay was hotel staff, especially Carolyn who made breakfast each day of our stay. She was thoughtful and took time to get to know us as we were there for 4 days. Always pleasant and just made it great to see a friendly face each morning ! I’d stay again as it’s very close to family but I’ll make sure I’m not on the highway side of the building !!
