Squeaky clean, new * & Beautiful! Must stay compares to hotels 2x the price. Five in my book. FATASTIC, huge soft towels, new new new linens, spotless clean, beautifully remoldeld room. Its a Gem 5 * mineral/salt pool. Recommending to family & friends to stay while visiting. Central to all restaurants, can walk to them. Nice amenities. Perfect hot breakfast included!

Great stay & very pleasant staff!!! Great!! I have never written a review on a hotel, but this place deserves one! First off, they have made renovations, brand new bathrooms, fixtures, furnishings, brand new bedding all done very well, but what was so nice is the staff. They were very pleasant, helpful & busy, working, cleaning & caring about their guests!! And their breakfast was pretty good included in the price. I have marked it as a place I’d like to stay at again!

Wrong hotel Wrong hotel. It is listed as a Wyndham but wyndham purchased it from Sleep Inn just 3 months ago. It remains a Sleep Inn but with Windham prices. The checkin lady said the only thing changed are the linens. I wonder which hotal the 'reviews' are reviewing.

Exceptionally helpful staff and fine accomodations I have to give a shout out to this establishment and its personnel. To make a long story short, by my own errors I had messed up our accommodations on the Navy Base. The staff at the Navy hotel contacted the staff at the Wingate by Wyndham and explained our situation. The folks at Wingate went out of their way to help us out. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They turned what was about to be a self-inflicted crisis into a fine night and following morning. The hotel itself was clean and 100% fine. I would definitely stay there again if our travels take us this way. It also has a convenient location to eateries, gas stations, and the interstate.

Not like it was! We’ve stayed at this hotel in the past, it had previously been a nice pet friendly location to stay. As others have mentioned the rooms have odor issues! Our first room had a housekeeping issue which we asked to have resolved but the length of time for resolution forced us to change rooms. The second room was better but I couldn’t use the air conditioner without the damp smell being emitted from it! The other concern was the obvious lack of safety maintenance as the smoke detector didn’t have a battery. Sorry that this property hasn’t been kept up, won’t be staying here again!
