Very nice accommodations My family stayed in a very clean and well-appointed room with two queen beds. The room was spacious with ample room for our luggage. The WiFi speed was decent, clocking in at 30 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up. There was a reasonably large fridge, though it lacked a freezer compartment. But, I realized later that if I put my ice packs to the rear of the 2nd shelf they would partially freeze. Unfortunately, there was no cell phone reception for AT&T in the area. We had a quiet room on the top floor (3rd floor), although there were noisy kids in the adjacent room at times. The hotel offers plenty of free parking, which was convenient. For a quieter stay, I recommend requesting a room away from the highway. One highlight was the hot breakfast available starting at 6:30 am. I particularly enjoyed the signature Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls! Do note that check-in is at 4 pm, which is later than the usual 3 pm at most hotels. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring both the Redwood State and National Parks to the north and south. Overall, it's a great choice for a central location and comfortable stay. There are limited dining options in the immediate area around the hotel. The closest and best option would be the Abalone Grill, located adjacent to the hotel within a small casino. It's worth noting that the restaurant's hours can be inconsistent, based on what I've read in postings. My family didn't eat here, so I can't comment on the food or service. If you're looking for more dining choices, Crescent City is your next best option, about a 30-minute drive north. Overall, our stay at the hotel was pleasant and convenient, especially for exploring the nearby Redwood State and National Parks. Despite issues like zero cell reception and the occasional room noise, the comfortable accommodations made our visit enjoyable.

No good place to eat near by Dinner from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, if staff arrive, otherwise, it's takeout. There is no good dinner option near the hotel, and the menu at the hotel (casino) is all short order cook stuff. The room was quiet and clean, probably because not many people were there on a Thursday night.

All the Basic Needs Klamath is a destination and there are not many "name" hotels in the area. As a Holiday Inn product, this one has decent rooms, a pool, workout area, breakfast, and a restaurant for dining. Those are the basic needs for a vacation where you are looking to get out into nature as we were.

Not worth a stay and the location has so much potential This hotel and location has so much potential but it unfortunately is not worth a stay. The receptionist at arrival was friendly and helpful but the room did not meet our expectations. We booked this since there was no other hotel option available in the neighborhood during our trip. The warning signs for cancer causing materials that are used in the hotel are even more disturbing and should be removed asap.

Quaint and Clean! Stayed here on the first night of our 5 year anniversary trip to CA/OR/and Washington. We met a good friend here for the night and enjoyed a meal at the casino next door. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were very clean! The breakfast was also the best hotel breakfast we have had. The omelets and Cinnabon's were just what we needed before hiking in the redwoods. Also the employees were all very friendly and made our stay very nice!
