Very Good Stay at East Knoxville We stayed one night in a King room, #310, right next to the elevator at the Comfort Inn East outside of Knoxville. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a nice desk and the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. There was very little noise from the elevator. The free hot breakfast was very good - eggs, extra large sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, cold cereals, 2 waffle makers, coffee and juices and more. We enjoyed supper at Aubrey's and cheap gas at Pilot.

Nice motel This is a really nice Comfort Inn. They appear to have recently upgraded the carpeting but haven't replaced the moldings yet. The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. The only problem we found was very limited parking for the amount of guests that they might have.

Horrible Paint Smell I really wanted to like this hotel, but the ventilation was awful. When the elevator arrived at the 4th floor I could hardly breath. There was an over-whelming matellic or paint smell! I had to pull the neck of my shirt up to breathe into it. The bedroom was slightly better, but I decided to go to the front desk and ask for another room. I went down the stairs this time, but it still had an awful smell and there were wood chips all over the stairs...kind of dangerous if you ask me. After asking the man at the desk if we could change rooms, he said that the building was all full, except for a jacuzzi room on the first floor right next to the lobby. I asked if we could move into that one and keep the same price that we paid. He said "No, It would be about $25 more dollars". My husband did not want to pay that. I would have thought the desk staff person could have offered it to us for the same price of our room since the smell was so strong on the 4th floor. The only redeeming factor was that the indoor pool was nice and warm for my husband and I to relax in after a long day's drive! The breakfast was decent too!

Perfect Stopover from Arkansas to Virginia The King Size bed was awesomely comfortable. We loved it. The entire room was super-clean. Justin at the front desk was extremely helpful. The free breakfast was very good and the lady taking care of it was very competent and helpful. There are so many eateries nearby, some within walking distance, even for us in our 70's. The location is easy off and on to Interstate 40. We have stayed in one of the Hotels just behind Comfort Inn and think we'll stick with Comfort Inn next time. Didn't try the pool but the gym worked for me.

Insanity I am a travel nurse in a strange city. I'm here for 3 months. I was at a different hotel with a kitchen but the AC did not work so I called this hotel. I am a diamond member from all the stays I've had since COVID hit in 2019. I explained my dilemma and asked if they could match what I was paying at the extended stay. I told Chyenbe I'd need 2 queen beds in a quiet area because I work nights. The general manager agreed to a price till Dec 10th. We moved and 3 days later they gave us an hour to leave because I had asked a maid to stop banging into the wall that I was sleeping on the other side. Had been trying to sleep since 11 am it was 2 pm had to work at 5 and I had xanax on board. I will be taking the General manager to small claims court. She is young and has children running all over the office area and an infant in a swing she leaves alone to play " I'm the boss". She actually told me I wasn't a " good fit for her hotel" why because I sleep days...that's what I was paying to do. LOL. Anyways because of this a co-worker has found me a condo for 1565/month and I can move in asap...I was unable to work the night she threw me out with no warning. My husband and I earn 222k a year which has no bearing on this except I know the right people to call and can afford attorney's. We did absolutely nothing wrong and now because of this " child" I will never do business with Choice again....ever. The general manager needs to understand the kingdom she rules is very tiny...and customers are people. She actually told me they had many " corporate accounts" my company was actually one and when my recruiter called she told her I got the rate for 1 person showed up with two and I was " banned ". That's why we had two queen beds. I wish her much luck in life. I'll pray for anyone at her mercy...
