Very great experience but vending machine problem It was great the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great I enjoyed my stay there with my dad but one problem is one of the machines ate my dad’s money and didn’t give him any change or anything it just ate his money and nothing happened otherwise it was a great time

Not same as picture, not good! No working elevator. With mobility issues, I still had to try to carry cooler and luggage on stairs. Told the front desk but they said there was nothing they could do. Worker knocking on door before check out time saying he needed to clean. Just kind of a strange place with a very strong chemical smell masking a foul smell made us cough. Does not look like the pictures at all!

Noisy unclean room My wife and I recently vacationed in Wisconsin, our first trip since Covid seems to be under control. We were very disappointed in the decline of multiple budget motel chains we used. The franchise owners are struggling to recover financially, and this has resulted in substandard building maintenance and staffing. My rating is for this property in particular. The room looked like it hadn't been dusted or vacuumed in several days, so we dusted off the lamps and wore foot coverings, even during the night. (0 stars) The fan for the air conditioner was very noisy, so during the night we alternated between having it keep us cool and awake, or getting up a couple of times to turn it off so we could sleep but get too warm. The bathroom fan was also noisy and made a throbbing sound in the room during the entire length of a shower. The steam took a long time to clear, so I don't think the fan actually worked. (0 stars) The bedding and pillows were very comfortable, and there were no noisy neighbors in the rooms, hallways or outside. We got a good night's rest. (1 star) The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, and had the variety you would normally expect for a free breakfast. (1 star) The front desk staff was friendly during both checkin and checkout. They apologized for the room not being as good as we had expected. (1 star) Based on these factors, my overall rating is 3 stars. I suspect that only certain rooms are kept up, and when occupancy goes up, some of the substandard rooms are made available without first being properly readied. We had chosen Country Inn because of an exceptional stay in Holland Michigan ten years ago. This property certainly wasn't what we had expected for the price we paid for the room.

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Nice, comfortable hotel. Pool area clean and kept up. Rooms satisfactory. Good coffee. Free breakfast was so so but you get what you pay for. Our only complaint was that the shower water pressure was a trickle. Toilet leaked around the base.

Clean motel near the river Stayed for two nights, eight in group, four rooms. The motel is very clean which is always important. The staff was professional and friendly. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. The lobby was lovely and there is an outside patio with adequate seating for a group. The negatives were that the shower had absolutely NOTHING to hang onto, so could not risk taking a shower in it. Towels were scratchy. Also, the air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep, and too hot if turned off. The breakfast was fine and typical of a motel breakfast that is included, nothing bad, nothing outstanding. Not sure if I'd stay here again, only because there isn't a single grab bar in or near the tub/shower.
