Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lafayette, an IHG Hotel

More or less ok Room was comfortable. They were deep cleaning the common areas! Lots of great restaurants nearby. Breakfast was not up to par, oatmeal was very salty. Be prepared to take breakfast to your room unless you enjoy Faux News _ maybe just put sports on during election years. Or Bluey. Literally anything but that. I asked the staff to change channels but they declined.

Exrtremely bad Holiday Inn Experience Checked in for a three day stay. Hard to be more dissatified with this facility. First, the Staff was excellant in all respects, helpful, friendly, effficient and very professional. This negative review is on the facility itself. Upon entering the lobby the musty odor was disgusting. The entire hotel had the appearance of a run down, out of date facility. Carpets did not appear to have been cleaned in several years. The back "exit" door would not shut completely, next to it was two large boxes of peaches that were rotting and a "fly trap." Entering the room the electronic keys did not function and we had to return to the lobby for new keys. Upon actually entering the room the terrible aroma remained. The bathroom facilites were old and outdated. The sink would not drain quickly and appears that the drainage pipes were well on the way to being stopped up. The tap water was disgusting and we had to use bottled water for hyigene purposes. We were very worrried that due to the condition of the room they may have had bed bugs but it in this case our worries were unfounded, "we checked" with a UV light. While we had paid for a three night stay we elected to check out on day early and were glad to be gone. Never had such a negative experience with a Holiday Inn Express. Again, this review is about the facilities and NOT the staff.

AMAZING COSTUMER SKILLS The service was amazing I was well taken care of, everyone was so nice and helpful about everything ESPECIALLY breakfast staff being greeted so well was truly appreciated, the rooms were always clean with a clean made bed every night and towels always supplied

The low end of the holiday inn express chain Couldn’t park in handicap for my wife. Bikers took up the spots to have a bbq. They were jamming till about 2am. Management did nothing to address. Didn’t get the rooms we bought through Priceline. The agent said the hotel fave out rooms to someone else…. Being forced to use a pull out bed was upsetting… Then breakfast. Well it’s was the most stripped down of any holiday express location. If you’re accustomed to the yogurt, gravy, hard boiled egg, egg and cheese omelettes, then move on. This location is not for you.

Ms. Tasha the breakfast waitress I stayed here with my singing group, and all of our accomodations were in order, but Ms. Tasha was astounding! She was attentive and fun. She absolutely filled our morning with laughter and energy, She really made our stay memorable. When we pass through Lafayette again, we hope to stay here and see Ms. Tasha again.
