Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Mary At Colonial Townpark

Worth staying here. We were here for a baseball tourny. We switched hotels to here from their other location in deltona as that one was not up to par. This Location was great and Michelle at the front desk was great with getting us rooms at the witching hour and provided great customer service. Free parking, breakfast was good, rooms were huge and clean. Bathroom well lit and nice size.

Not as good as our previous visits Have stayed at this Hampton several times in the past however things seem to have gone down hill since our last visit. Pros Excellent breakfast included, plenty to choose from both hot and cold items, great host who was friendly and kept everything well stocked up and area clean. Staff generally friendly. Car parking on site. Good location for nearby shops and restaurants. Cons Rooms - although recently renovated , rooms are dark and a little dreary although do have a nice large bathroom and all the facilities such as coffee machine, iron, fridge, microwave etc. Housekeeping - when I booked this hotel I knew that this service was every other day, however after various contacts was advised it was easy to request this daily if we preferred. We did try and request daily service yet it never happened, personally part of my holiday is to return to a nicely refreshed room, I dont expect to have to do my own cleaning I do enough of that at home !! Would have picked elsewhere to stay if we knew it was such a problem to arrange. General cleanliness of hotel also left a lot to be desired. I wouldnt like to guess when the hallways last saw a hoover, they were dirty thoughout our stay - not a good first impression !! and as for the lifts I dont thinlk they had been cleaned in months Pool - nice little pool area with clean pool but trying to get pool towels was nigh on impossible. When I finally managed to get some from reception they were soooo tiny you would hardly be able to dry your hands on them and were definately not what I would call a pool towel. As a positive we did raise our concerns at the time and were awarded some hilton honours points by way of apology. This was really well handled by Mellisa who did her best to put things right. All in all we had an OK stay but when visiting the area again would look for an alternative.

What a lucky random pick! What a lucky random pick when looking for a place to stop for the night! Booked through the app while driving north on I-4 and couldn't be more pleased. We were greeted by a lovely front desk hostess at midnight, quickly found our spacious room and enjoyed a quiet and comfortable nights sleep. And the free breakfast was the nicest breakfast I've had at a Hampton Inn. Highly recommend.

Rude staff, false charges, hung-up on us... Received statement and saw charged for beer $14. Talked to front desk, once we got home, called and front desk simply repeated in condescending tone it must have been true because of their process. Yet, we saw a person come down, grab a beer from fridge, and said to charge to his room. No process was used as described and the hotel rep didn't care and repeatedly talked over me saying it must be a real charge. After asking her to please stop talking over me she hung-up.

Needs upkeep This was our “go to” hotel when visiting family nearby, but it has really declined. Pros—near restaurants, shopping. Easy parking, safe Cons—dirty! Our room had heavily stained carpet with food crumbs on the floor, a thick layer of dust everywhere; some substance ?coffee spilled all over the door, dirty furniture. This same level of cleanliness was in the halls, lobby. I might expect this of a cheap motel but not Hilton.
