Comfort Inn & Suites Lakeland North I-4

DO NOT STAY!! Room was so dirty we went and got chlorox wipes to clean it. There was pee on the toilet, stains on the carpet, mold in the DIRTY microwave and the bathroom floor and sink turned our wipes black. Clearly this room had not been cleaned in a long time.

Average hotel Nothing special. Just an average hotel. Bed is comfortable and room has no noise. AC control is not good, it gets too cold or hot even if you change settings. Ample parking. Close to restaurants etc. Breakfast is horrible. Some eggs, sausage cereal and juice/coffee. No fruits, yogurt, variety of condiments etc. I saw several construction workers in yellow vests staying here. Looks they contract with them. Staff is average, not very friendly but they do the basic job.

Refused business after a bad review about a true experience I booked a stay at the Comfort Inn by I4 in Lakeland with a King Bed this past weekend for Fri and Sat night. (I have stayed there several times in the past with little fixable issues) When I was checking in I asked if I could stay on the backside of the hotel due to it being away from the main road and quieter. I was told no problem and was given a key to a room. When I went to the room there were people in it. I went back to the desk and advised the guy at the desk of the situation. He told me at that point there were no rooms left with King beds but if me and my wife would mind staying in a room with two beds. When asked what kind of beds he said they were queens. I said no problem. When we went to the room and unpacked we noticed the beds were twin beds. Since my wife wasn't feeling well we stayed that night. I went back down Sat morning and asked if we could get a room with a King instead of two twin beds. Rudely, I was told the beds were full not twins. I told the lady that the guy the prior night said the room he selected for us had queen beds in it and that they were too small. Then I was told that since I REFUSED the first room(which I did not) that we would have to remove all of our stuff (knowing I was not going to be back to the hotel for at least 5-6 hours) so they could clean the room I stayed in and they would see what they could do. Since I did not feel confident nor was I reassured I would be taken care of I just said we would stay there. After the stay I received a email and asked to make a review. Once I made the review and explained my true experience I received a rude response by the lady I spoke to on Saturday. I replied to the response and told them that if the original person at the desk knew what size beds were in the rooms that the problem would have never presented itself and that I would have stayed in the original room with the King Bed. After I sent that response, I received another email but from the Un-Named General manager of that Comfort Inn stating that due to my review they would not be accepting any reservations any longer.

Lakeland Comfort Inn & Suites is extreme comfort Beautiful place to stay. I wish we weren't on a schedule. I would stay an extra night and not check out until the last minute. I loved the comfy couch and mattress. The desk with adjustable chair was a plus. Very clean and we'll maintained. Breakfast was very good with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, breads, yogurt. So everything you could want.

educational conference Lakeland Comfort Inn and Suites is a great place to go for a small meeting. There conference room is on the second floor and is just the right size for a small class room. Staying in the same hotel as the meeting gave me the opportunity to have a relaxing educational experience without having to fight traffic everyday.
