Great and helpful staff Let me first say the front desk staff is great, as are the valet folks when working. If you go to the restaurant, they are great too. I’ve stayed here several times and plan to again. I left a Braum Series 8 Pro electric razor in my room over the weekend and didn’t realize I left it until the day I checked out and got home and it wasn’t in either of our bags. When I called the hotel, someone searched the room and they eventually found it. Anyways, worth knowing the folks are not only nice, but will also help find items left behind and get them back to you. Thank you!

Beautiful Hotel in a great area but …. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the event I was attending. The hotel is very nice! The brunch in the restaurant was great! Several restaurants and a park with a few steps of the hotel. Beds were comfy. The downfall was the AC wasn’t working right in our room. It was 77 when we checked in the afternoon and when coming back from our event it was still 77. The front desk couldn’t switch our room because she could t log into the computers. It was 11pm and the maintenance person had gone home. When I checked out the next morning, I was given an I’m sorry but this is an old hotel and the ac units freeze sometimes because guests turn them down to low. Hmmm, it has been remodeled and it is summer in Florida. I was told I would receive 10,000 points to my Hilton account for the inconvenience. Lack of sleep because the room was hot and the fact that the room was 45,000 points to reserve is not right. At least half the points would have made it somewhat of a better experience. Sweating instead of sleeping in not why I choose to stay there! Would I stay there again? Only if the room was a decent temp when I checked in otherwise, no!

“Downtown” without a pool. This is in what’s considered “downtown”. While the beds are comfy and it does have a restaurant, it’s over priced. I’ve stayed here twice and both times my shower amenities were empty and I had to flag down housekeeping to fill them. Both times the coffee make (nespresso) was not working properly. It’s cute if you like the “downtown” feel, but there’s no pool either. It’s also extremely noisy in the morning. Was awoken by the garbage truck, got back to sleep to be awoken by another truck. Decided that I wasn’t going back to sleep so I got up and checked out. Again, if you’re just coming in for the afternoon and are checking out earlier in the morning, this might be convenient for you.

Noisy Room Clearly hear talking on the sidewalk and skateboards practicing in the street many floors below. We can hear the conversation and TV from the connecting room next door. Train and car noise comes straight through the windows. The only way to sleep is to turn on the noisy fan in the room (15 additional decibels). Staff is good, restaurant is very good and rooms are clean. Noisiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Without the room fan it would be a 1 star review.

Excellent Food, Bar and Hotel This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, but what makes it truly spectacular is the amazing bar and restaurant staff. Chris at the bar is always attentive, informative and fun to talk to. The restaurant chefs, Chris, Tyler, and Lucy are so talented. The open kitchen let's you see how they perform their cullinary magic. They are extremely creative. The bar and restaurant are elegant and comfortable.
