Cork Factory Happy My boyfriend and I decided to stay at the Cork Factory Hotel after a visit to Hersheypark. The hotel was easy to find and impeccably maintained. The entire place was clean and the the staff was sweet and welcoming. We were beyond impressed with our king bed room, especially the exposed brick and beams. Sheets were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and well lit. We were beyond impressed and definitely plan on coming back.

Great Midweek Get away Our Stay was a June 22 Tuesday check in to June 25 Friday check out, Did the smart thing and actual did a google maps look of the area and knew what to do when we arrived because Hotel is to the rear of buildings that were street-side. Check In was a few minute process (got there exactly at 3 pm check in time) Receptionist was excellent answer a few questions and we went to the room on 3rd floor and rooms was Clean and really different from those Corporate Hotels. You have to remember you are in a 150 plus year old building so there is no BRIGHT lights, hallways you can say were little dark but I like the atmosphere of the whole hotel.Due to covid you had to ask if you needed housekeeping which we did not need but if any toiletries were needed or towels all you had to do was call front desk and was taking care of. The restaurant was closed Tuesday night but knew where the Restaurants that are open were close by on Rt 30 which was 15 minute ride away. Area and the hotel is very residential so very few places to walk and grab a bite or a drink, there was a Pub across the street which had a good crown the 2 night it was open during our stay. I could tell that the Hotel make it money on Weddings so I can bet that WEEKENDS at the hotel can be noisy and crowded, which could present a parking issue but during our stay there was plenty of parking close to back entrance. Did eat at the restaurant Thursday night and had an excellent meal and our server Emmit was great. The AC units can be loud to some people but I am used to loud things , sleep was not an issue. Would recommend this hotel over any of the Big name Hotel that were on Rt 30,

EXCELLENT RESTORATION, OK HOTEL… At the end of a long, HOT drive, it was frustratingly unclear just how to get to the hotel in the large complex of very impressively renovated mill buildings, something we attributed to our fatigue — and inadequate signage. The receptionist was perfectly professional — but completely inhospitable. The room was okay, but the pillows were among the worst ever, and the long hallway was rather grim — even for an enthusiast of 19th century mill architecture .

Save your $$ Thought we were going to have a fantastic weekend get away, must say check I was fantastic but the rest of our stay left a lot to be desired. Room was pretty, clean and comfortable. Went to the restaurant and the waiter/ bartender was nothing but rude. After back in the room went to sleep only to be awakened by a very loud group in the next room. I’m not just talking about hearing muffled conversation but could hear every conversation word for word well into the late night hours. I would definitely skip this place if you have other choices, definitely not worth the $$$

Good and bad The good: Absolutely beautiful place with awesome history. The restaurant is really beautiful with all the stone. The bad: the food in the restaurant was sub par I ordered the scallops and the presentation was beautiful BUT so, so salty. My sister ordered chicken wings, same thing... Salty, salty, salty! The beds! OMG~way to soft! You sink right in. My sister and I were laughing so hard. The pillows were horrible. Dacron, who has Dacron pillows anymore? They were so stuffed there was no way you could use one. I ended up folding up my down jacket and using that as a pillow.
