Quiet base away from the strip Stayed here for 7 nights at the end of Feb and had anticipated all sorts of horrors including haunted rooms but it was far from that We had a tower king room, it was spacious and comfy, cleaned every day but that being said the carpet & corners of the bathroom were pretty grim but overall clean Loads of sockets & the lamps on nightstands has USB sockets Hotel is at the end of the strip which was a welcome relief from all the craziness of the strip, still plenty to do at the hotel including titanic experience, plus connected to Mandalay Bay & Excalibur Food court not the best, definitely better choices in Mandalay Bay but they had 2 Starbucks and a frozen yogurt place great for a morning No issues with waiting for lifts, vending machine on the floor needed to be restocked with Pepsi max by the end of the week but really helpful when needed a bottle of water Would recommend getting a Duece bus pass $8 for 24 hours and you can hop on and off all the way to Freemont Street Casino was freezing so if you're always cold like I am take a jacket, very smoky but all the casinos are, only 1 or 2 roulette tables on at a time so could get busy would have liked an extra table Gym had plenty of equipment including 2 stairmasters Luggage storage organised and simple if late departure, we also paid $30 for later check out at 3pm Overall really enjoyed this stay and would stay here again

Never Again! End to end terrible. The hotel is dated, dirty, run down, and dark. My room was dingy and had zero amenities. HVAC system didn't work and the room was hot and humid the entire stay; as well, it smelled. Broken vending machine on my floor, which was needed because they don't so much as put a bottle of water in your room. Non-functioning plugs, zero USB outlets, fuzzy picture on TV, plastic shower with no conditioner (just "conditioning shampoo"), dirty exterior windows. Shabby and depressing, don't waste your time or money here.

Nice hotel Our room was on the 16th floor, spotlessly clean, 2 double beds , nice shower & sink all kept clean on a daily basis. We had a great 4 night stay , never waited for the lifts. Overall we were happy with our choice.

Very average hotel and experience for the price We Extended our Vegas trip last minute and booked 3 nights here at the Luxor . Not sure how this place has anything over 2.5 stars it stinks like an armpit . The elevators are slow and there was an excessive amount of hairs on everything (20+) in the bathroom alone and on everything else without even looking for them on purpose. Overall the rooms should be dirt cheap it’s backpacker standards and they are not that close to the good parts of town to charge this much . just pay the extra and get the Bellagio it’s worth it .

Worth doing. Once. So this Hotel is a Vegas Experience. It's supposed to feel like you are inside a pyramid and it delivers. The way it's built is a trip and there is a Sphynx Statue in the front to boot. The Staff was friendly and helpful at check in, when they answered the phone when we called from the room( Which was a 50% hit or miss) and we went to the Caberet style show they have there. Fantasy. Loved it. HOWEVER, it's s Luxury hotel and it doesn't look like there has been ANY money spent to upgrade the hotel or keep it current. Which you don't have to redo a hotel and spend bunch on remodeling. But I DO expect you to change out the furniture in the room when it is faded or cracked, I also expect the carpets in the areas that get the most traffic to be replaced when they get to the point that they are thread bare. Not doing so make the place seem run down. Which was disappointing and a little confusing. I am also unsure about the safety of the hallways. There are no guard rails or prevention borders. We were on the 21st floor and it seems like anyone could have simply jumped or been pushed over the edge of that thing and landed in the food court. That made me really uncomfortable. I am not sorry we stayed here because it is an experience. But I am not sure we will stay there again.
