Nice place to stay, but…. This was the fourth year in a row that I’ve stayed at the D; so while it may be obvious that I enjoy the place, there are some pros and cons. PRO: • Extremely reasonable rates. Hard to beat, really. • Terrific location in the center of the Fremont experience. • Good casino, with solid blackjack games. • A wonderful steakhouse on the second floor. CON: • The noise level. They pump up the music level throughout the lobby and casino floor to an annoying level. Plus, hotel guests will hear the loud, thumping music, which emanates relentlessly from the Fremont Street experience below. Bring earplugs and shoot for a room on the upper floors. • the front desk personnel are really quite friendly, but it took 20 minutes for us to check in because there was only one person behind the front desk. • the plumbing sucks. Or I should say the plumbing doesn’t suck enough because two of the three of us, all in separate rooms, had toilets that backed up. Having said all the above, there’s a good chance that I may very well be staying there on my next trip to Las Vegas.

Another great stay at The D Hotel Another fantastic stay at The D. Love having a refrigerator in the room. Shower had great water pressure and temperature, comfortable beds, housekeeping daily. Great location at the end of Fremont St. Beer/liquor and snack store right next door. Super friendly staff. We ended up in an ADA room so had a roll in-able shower and lots of room in it. Apparently they have a lot of rooms like this. We offered to move ti a different category incase someone might need it but they said they had lots and lots like that. Really enjoyed the live music right outside the front doors at night!

It was OK We stayed at the D because my Husband stayed there last year and they sent us a Comp 2 night stay. When my husband made the reservations the lady said the rooms were on the lower floors (which can be really noisy), for extra $10 a night we could get above the 14th floor, plus the comp rooms you still had to pay resort fees. We were staying for 3 days, so 2 comp days one reg day and $10 extra for each night to get a higher floor. We get there, desk person (who was really nice) said we had one comp night and one at 10% off and then a full night. Not what we reserved, he said he could not help us at the desk we would have to go to another area to get it straighten out. We just stood in like for 15 minutes to get checked in and didn't want the hassle so we just took what they gave us. We figured we would go talk to the "other" desk when we were done so we wouldn't have to stand in line again. We did get on the 30th floor which really helped with the noise. Room was very plain, they gave us a two queen, great view, no fridge, no safe, no coffee maker, just very bare bones, small tv, small dresser/desk area that tv was on. Beds were decent, comfortable. They only give you shampoo and 2 towels, 2 hand towels and two wash clothes. They cleaned our room after the first day, but not after the second day. We still could hear the music from Freemont street (plays until 2am every night). If you want a cheap bare bones room with a hotel with next to no amenities and very few eating places this works. For us we want a little more comfort. Also, if your going to comp rooms, then comp them, they should be free, not nickel and dime you once you get there. Probably won't stay there again.

Do not stay here if you want to sleep Will not go back. The music from Fremont Street is so loud you cannot hear yourself think inside your own hotel room. The music lasts until midnight on weekdays and 1-2am on weekends. It made the trip miserable.
