Overall it was a pleasure to stay here. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in LeClaire, Iowa. The hotel was immaculately clean, top to bottom. Every staff member that we interacted with were friendly and on top of their jobs. It is noticeable that the staff at the hotel take pride in their lovely establishment. I would definitely recommend staying here if you find yourself in the area.

NOT a good restful night, for the price charged it really should have been better. We travel through Le Claire, Iowa occasionally on our road trips between Minnesota and eastern destinations. Le Claire is one of our favorite stops for dining and overnight rests. This time on Friday, June 14, 2024 was not so pleasant. I had believed because the hotel was located on the river that it would be a quiet place to stay. We stayed one night here and did not get the rest expected. When we checked in, the desk clerk told us the hotel was fully booked. I asked why and she said there was a sports tournament/games in town, so the hotel was booked by parents with kids. After 10 PM my wife and I were in bed, while there were kids running up and down the halls, slamming room doors loudly and repeatedly. After finally falling asleep near midnight, we were awakened by a loud train very close blowing its whistle loudly. After finally falling asleep again, it happened twice more during the night. Had we known there is a train frequently going close by blowing its horn we would not have chosen this place. We will never stay here again.

Wonderful stay We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We had a balcony room on the second floor with a wonderful river view. The room was very clean and updated. The room was big - with a large seating area with an L shaped sofa separate from the bed. The trains were not a problem at all. There is a road that goes along the river that we were able to take some nice walks. The staff were all very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. The free breakfast was great. Pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, oatmeal and more! The pool area was nice and clean. The hot tub was okay, just wish the jets were stronger. We loved the balcony. It was a nice size - I was even able to do my early morning yoga on the balcony. With the beautiful cool weather and the view it was so calming. We will definitely be back.

A great place to stay while visiting the area. Excellent choice! This was the top recommended hotel by the locals we asked. We were very pleased with every aspect of this facility. The grounds were nicely kept. The view was wonderful. We had a balcony room overlooking the river and it was great. There were no issues or problems with the room. It was quiet and very comfortable.

Beautiful and Michelle! Needed to find a place to stay on the fly and stopped here inside the Illinois/Iowa line. I had stopped earlier inside Illinois and had decided to move on. I was taken with the riverside and stopped here. Wasn’t sure I was going to find a room but Michelle was very helpful and kind in not only finding a room but helped find a cheaper rate as well as putting us on the riverside which my wife was hoping for! I wasn’t able to find a room with a balcony but the view from our window was indeed beautiful. The room was large, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was standard but good. I couldn’t say enough nice things about this hotel and Michelle particularly! Will definately return when in the area!
