Absolutely amazing My husband and I came to this bed and breakfast for our honeymoon and it went beyond what we expected. The rooms were very comfy with a good AC unit (we had very hot weather while there) with a door that led straight to a very clean swimming pool. The attention to details is what we loved the most. The host was so welcoming and on arrival made us aware of where we could eat, provided containers we could use for our trip to sequoia national park, and provided a fridge for us to put our food in. When I mentioned my husband is diabetic she let us use their private fridge for his insulin. The breakfast we had in the morning was the best breakfast we have had in forever. The egg dish, with the fresh fruit and the homemade cake really set us up for the day and was both filling and healthy. This bed and breakfast was without doubt our favourite stay during our whole honeymoon and would highly recommend.

Comfy room and yummy breakfast Very enjoyable visit with comfortable accommodations and excellent breakfast. The rooms are not new and contemporary but definitely clean and maintained. Breakfast was excellent! I would have enjoyed some afternoon offering - cookies or cheese….always nice to mingle with other guests.

Sadly, overrated and worn out. A pleasant host, but our room was really outdated and beat up, I think it was set up to look vintage, but mostly it looks like garage sale items. I’m not sure who wrote the others reviews, we didn’t see the other bedrooms to be able to comment. The lounge and dining room was ‘set up to look homey’, but I doubt they actually get used. Sadly, the carpets in every room we saw, the stairs, our bedroom, and including the dining room are badly in need of a shampoo or replacement. It’s seems to have been a ‘B&B for some time’ and I don’t see recent reviews, so maybe some of the reviews are fake/ promotional vs real guests like we were. Our breakfast was just as pictured in the other photos from a couple years ago, so nothing creative.

Cozy stay with incredible breakfast! Very nice and cozy stay. The location is excellent if visiting Sequoia NP - only about 25 min drive to the entrance and you will conveniently pass restaurants, markets, coffee shops, and gas to fuel up for the day. The rooms are not luxurious but definitely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay - warm, homemade muffins and pastries, fresh fruit, an egg dish and hot coffee each morning. Served outside on a quite patio. Wonderful stay!!!

DISAPPOINTING AND TIRED B&B WITH A VERY MISLEADING WEBSITE The website for this B&B makes it sound so wonderful - so we booked it for a more expensive 2 night stay on our 3 week road trip of California. We booked the Sequoia Room for $504. It was so disappointing. We were shown to our room by the caretaker, but when I was shown the bathroom I first noticed that the sink did not have a plug. I pointed this out only to be told that she couldn’t get a spare one for me as they didn’t have any and that they just then get stolen’. The ‘luxurious’ dressing gown had a brown stain on it so I had to request a replacement for this. The 'private balcony' was not private and actually shared with 3 other bedrooms. I was especially looking forward to using the jacuzzi bath that was in this room but initially the cold tap did not release any water even though it was turning freely. Then it actually came off. Once again we called the caretaker and she then got the local handyman to come round and fix this. He tried twice to say it was fixed, but on both times, before he left, I turned the tap and once again it came off. At this point the caretaker offered us an alternative room. This room did not have the jacuzzi bath and separate shower that we wanted. But most frustratingly the toilet flush there did not work. There were also bulbs not working in the sink area and above the bed. There was fresh sawdust on the bathroom floor from a loose panel in the toilet door and a crack in the main cupboard mirrored door. When we pointed these out we were not informed as to when they would be fixed and were a little annoyed to find out that the handyman had been back in our room whilst we were out all day without our permission. Overall this place is in a very tired state and in desperate need of updating. The website needs to reflect what is there now, as it is very misleading at the moment. The guest rooms are not ‘luxurious’. We also did not receive any of ‘Lisa’s famous granola’ which I was really looking forward to and which was mentioned on the website. We also had to ask for the freshly squeezed orange juice on both of our mornings there. When I asked for some sort of reasonable compensation on our first day there, for all the issues that we encountered, the caretaker informed me that Lisa was away that week. We had paid about $500 for these 2 nights so I insisted that contact be made with the owner. The owner did ring the following morning and did offer us some compensation, but I would still not recommend this B&B as a luxurious place to stay on your travels in California.
