Great hotel, must stay!!! Great hotel, great downtown location near Haymarket, well kept, staff was great except the bartender who had major attitude and didn’t do her job. It’s an Embassy Suites so you get the full cooked to order breakfast in the am and two free drinks at night, all good. Valet parking is $22 per day.

Old dirty and food is horrific This hotel is out of date. Dirty. Run down. Door lock on room doesn’t work. TVs are maybe 32 inch. The food at the hotel at the bar was not what a Hilton should ever have. It would be better to close than serve the food on the menu. Added chicken to a salad and it was processed maybe from a pouch - it was less quality than a can of chicken from Costco. A “grilled” chicken sandwich was a frozen patty maybe microwaved. Bar server had zero personality or concern for food, plates, everything they should not do. Disappointed and embarrassing for the brand.

Good Choice Perfect location in downtown for a visit to UNL. Staff was amazing and friendly, rooms were clean but very outdated. Parking is sparse downtown, but there is parking garage across the street. This was a very loud hotel on game weekend, so if you are there for quiet, pick somewhere else.

Bait and switch rate. Bug bites on my neck and triceps I Checked in and rented a 2nd room for my son and Family. The desk clerk told me it was $370 something per night. I don't remember exactly but it was right at $750 for both nights. I told him to go ahead. When I checked out, the bill was $417.57 the first night and $464.07 for the 2nd night. This was before taxes and fees. I opened a case and Hilton didn't acknowledge the rate the Hotel Clerk quoted me. It's Hilton so I didn't think of asking for a receipt upon check in. Also, I got a bunch of bug bites on my neck and both triceps. This was in the same case number and the reply was that I needed to address this with the specific hotel. I had already called the hotel. Nick Griess, the Rooms Operation Manager said he would inspect the room and call me the next day. They have since blown me off. I don't think this is a direct reflection on the chain but certainly of this hotel. Embassy Suites by Hilton in Lincoln Nebraska. Corporate reps were no help when the case was created.

Warm and dusty stay The AC was not great. I called the front desk to have maintenance come look at it. It was already late so I asked them to come the next day. They came the next day while I was out but left a note saying the AC was putting out 50° air. Somehow that 50° air took 12 hours to drop the temperature in the room 2 degrees. Also the thermostat has a motion sensor so if you are not in the room the air turns off and the temperature rises, which would be fine if the AC actually cooled the room back down quickly. I’m glad it was not any warmer out than it was. The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was ok, typical of a normal hotel. The vents in the room are extremely dusty. If you have allergies be prepared for issues. I would look at other hotels in the area as this one misses the mark.
