New Meaning to Home Away From Home Stumbling upon the Guesthouse Inn was my lucky day. I needed to be in Lubbock for about two weeks, so I needed a comfortable place to stay with reasonable rates within proximity to the hospitals. In addition to an immaculate room (the inn is freshly painted), they provide a continental breakfast plus hot waffles. But the best part about the inn is that it's unique--family owned and operated. Thus I felt like I was at home. Staff treats guests warmly as an expression of their philosophy that travelers are indeed guests in their inn, which makes this inn the most relaxing place to stay. No spa, no exercise room, just a simple, relaxing, clean, reasonable, quiet, stay with wonderful hosts.

Clean, quiet and comfortable! What a pleasant suprise! Located within walking distance of Covenant Hospital, this is the perfect place for anyone needing to stay in the medical district. By far one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower hot with excellent pressure. And the ceiling fan over the beds? Total game changer for temp control! Free continental breakfast. I would definately stay here again.

In desperate need of renovation to match the price This place is need of some major updates, and is really closer to a "1-star" hotel. Our first room was causing my wife to sniffle constantly. We quickly identified the HVAC system has mold/mildew. The TV was also broken. They quickly moved us to a new room, which didn't have either of those two problems. Still had a stale odor to the room - but at least it didn't make us ill. The TV worked. But it's also super small. The beds were lumpy, as one side was clearly higher than the other. And there are lots of areas, in particular in the bathroom, that is just old/dirty. You can see dirt and black stuff that is likely more mold and grime. Fixtures need replacement and just an overall refresh. The service was at least good and convenient location. Considering the price and quality, we wouldn't stay here again. Fortunately it was only one night.
