Well maintained small Chateaux near the larger ones. Very nice hotel with a helpful staff. Good location for visiting chateaux, which are between a half and one hour away by car. The dinning room is beautiful. The two room suite was quite spacious and well maintained. It’s up several flights of steps, so be prepared. The WiFi was a bit spotty. Apparently they are upgrading.

Disappointing Beautiful outside but 'over the top' inside decorations and paintings in public areas in gilt . Even hand drier in gold. Outside pool area impossible to walk without shoes as finish sharp and abrasive Room good. Poor service, not enough personnel but very good staff

Glory days long gone The outside looked lovely, butnote, pool not open and walkway notcleared. We were given a lovely room key. That is when it ended. Walk to room was musty ( first floor). When we opened the door, we were surprised, it appeared not to have been ready for guests. Cobwebs from the molding. An inch of dust around perimeter of room on the ripped carpeting. The door to the bedroom, when opened. Was across the foot of bed. Refrigerator was on floor, making it difficult to see prices of the water. The non functioning bidetshowed water stains. The hairdryer died half way through. No reservations available for dinner on second night, requiring the group to buy food in town and bring it back to chateau. It advertised a working bar. N ot so.. plus side, staff was lovely, tried to help, but lack of resources was evident

Lovely place, could use some polish and service We stayed here for one night as part of a tour. The public areas were magnificent, incredibly beautiful. The rooms themselves a bit dated without the opulence of the public areas but comfortable enough. We had dinner in the restaurant as part of the tour and the meals were very nice. What let the experience down was no option to get an extra beverage or two - noting many of us were happy to pay for this! In fact, before dinner, many of us wanted a drink but-there just simply wasn’t any service. Anywhere. Getting one after dinner in the bar took some work. WiFi was nonexistent. We enjoyed our night and dinner there, and would have been an experience hard to fault if there was some decent WiFi and some bar service.

Authentic unspoiled chateau We stayed here for 2 nights. Firstly, it’s in a fabulous setting and I doubt much has changed since it was built. It has an understated grandeur, with very impressive drawing rooms and bar. The bedroom followed a similar theme and as a consequence, didn’t have air conditioning although a fan was provided. A disappointment was that the highly restaurant wasn’t open either evening, which we had been made aware of in advance, which necessitated a trip out. As the chateau is isolated, this is a touch inconvenient so check restaurant opening times before you arrive. All in, this was a wonderful stay
