AAA Motel Experience My best stay ever in a motel while on the road. Was on a very stressful trip and this stopover was a blessing. The room was excellent with all the amenities. and the price the best ever. I will definitely make this motel my home on the road. Thank you for the great bed. It was very much needed that night. I hope and pray that you stand the ground and keep the price for a nights sleep at the affordable price you have. You have all other motels beat if you do. On a scale of 1-10 I rate this a 10+.

Please Do Not Go Here!! Hey, I recently went to this hotel just to get away for a night. The front desk clerk was very nice and I figured with everything being so convenient to get food, gas, and to shop I chose to stay. Once I walked in the room I was given it was totally trashed and was not clean. I went back up front and the clerk gave me another room. Well the next room was not bad but toilet tissue was everywhere like a worker had came in the room to use the restroom and just walked right out. I was very upset but still I gave them another chance after calling around for other rooms finding it to be too high or no rooms available. I was extremely tired and decided to give the room one more chance. I walked in the room it seemed good to go I feel asleep on the bed (top covers) once I woke up I went to pick up my fiancee from work and he went to take a shower then we notice hair inside the towel on the bottom. It was different hair one was more of pubic hair. We were so disgusted !! We agreed to report it first thing in the morning and decided not to use anything in there! Once morning we woke up itching and we noticed a yellowish brown spot on the under covers after searching the bed. We left and was determined to never return. I know have a bacterial infection and a bump on my legs ! My fiancee had a break out on his lower back. We are now trying to find a lawyer! To give us some help!!

Good value, Updated rooms When visiting Macon we normally stay at the Quality Inn & Suites but on our last visit we saw that the Travelodge had open. So this time, we stopped in to see what the price was and to look at the rooms. The price was only $2.00 more and the rooms were newly updated. We took the room. The bed had new bedding and was comfortable. The pillows were also new and just like we like them, fluffy. It was quiet and we didn't have trouble sleeping. The breakfast area was a bit small and not very organized. The food was not quite as good as the Quality Inns but we did have a bowl of cereal and orange juice. We'd loved to have coffee but it was so strong we couldn't drink it. Overall, a good value for the money and we'll stay again.

Love this place!! We stay here several times a year. The staff is great and we feel at home every time we are there. The spa was not working but my grandson loves the pool all during the year. He loves going to the lobby for breakfast. We like the rooms and have a peaceful stay.

I'm Itching! Stay Away!! First, I must say that the lady at the front desk was very nice. Okay, so I paid $53 for the room, and upon entering the room I noticed a terrible smell! It was awful! I turned on the bathroom light and it appeared to have been cleaned, but I have to assume that the housekeeper only cleans with water, and no chemicals/disinfectants. Next, I noticed how disgusting the sink looked, and the dingy face towel that was set out to be used. Only one lamp worked, out of three, so the room wss very dark and depressing to make matters worse. I couldn't get over that awful smell though, so 2 minutes after entering the room I decided I was going to ask for a different room, but while walking through the hall and snelling that same smell I figured every room must smell that way, so I went back to the room to suck it up. Luckily, the windows were able to be opened, so I opened them and turned on the A/C to try letting the old room breathe a little. During the day, the area looks decent. During the night, I felt like I was in the middle of a ghetto. I watched out my window as guys were walking back and forth, to and from. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered. There is an old tv in the room, an old wooden chair and wooden table, which I sat at for about 4 hours before deciding to lay in the bed. I never pulled the cover back because I was afraid at what I might see, so I slept in an awkward position all night trying to avoid putting my face on the pillow. The hall reeked of marijuana smoke, and there were people playing loud music and going in and out of rooms. A day later and I'm suddenly itching all over! I showered 4 times today and I'm still itching. Avoid this crackhouse hotel at all costs!!!
