Surprisingly Nice I really loved staying here, though it was only for one night. I had a very quiet room with a view of the Almond Company which was surrounded by a beautiful open green area. I thought it was a nice view. The only noise issue I had was that I could hear the occasional semi passing by on the two-lane road in the morning. The breakfast was also very good and the staff was very friendly. I'm definitely staying here again on my next trip up north.

Old, Clean, & Comfortable This Hampton Inn is no doubt another example of an old, tired Hampton. With that being said, the front desk staff was friendly. The room was dark, but clean. The bathroom was very outdated, but clean. The heat/ ac unit initially sounded like the bearings were about to seize up, but settled down to a normal humm. Then, I climbed into bed and was beyond shocked by how comfortable it was. I got a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ok. Overall, a very good nights sleep.

Decent hotel, but ask for a room away from the lift Hotel was ideally situated as an overnight stay on the way back to the coast from Yosemite. Room itself was decent but unfortunately our room backed on to the lift, meaning we were woken quite often in the night. Breakfast was a buffet and perfectly okay.

Not a Fan This is apparently a very old Hampton Inn, a chain of hotels that we frequently use on road trips. It's some distance from central Madera and the restaurants there. Our room had a broken closet door and several not working lights, including a bathroom light and a room light. The hotel was not up to Hampton Inn standards. Won't be staying here again, as there are some more convenient and better options closer to the town center.

Great location and great employees We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great. My husband has mobility issues and was helped getting everything he needed and wanted. We would definitely stay there again. It’s nice and quiet, right off of the freeway with easy access. Two thumbs up from us.
