Nice stay right across the MAD airport We stayed here for one night before flying out back to the US. Hotel was near-empty (June 2021) but airport shuttle was able to pick us up upon arrival. Very impressive modern lobby but with old tapestries on the walls. Room was sparkling clean, maybe a bit too much of the sanitizer smell, but during the COVID it is Okay. Lounge had nice selection of food and drinks. In the morning we had to take taxi to the airport because it was too early

Best Marriott hotel in Madrid One of the best Marriott Hotels in Madrid The hotel is huge proper conference hotel and very well known Only 10 min from the airport and 20 minutes from Madrid City Center The rooms are amazing and staff were extremely helpful Will definitely come back.

Hotel Shuttle Issue Room was large and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, too. However, the restaurant was extremely slow, and the food was very subpar. Also, they advertise an airport shuttle, but it does not run during the middle of the day, and they only make one trip per hour in the morning. I had to pay for taxi fare to/from the airport, totaling €36.

Overnight stop Stayed here as flew down from Alicante to pick up my sons friend who flew in from USA, massive hotel, but nothing open, champions bar serving overpriced food and drinks, my son ordered a dominos and got told off for eating it! And to go to his room! Never had that before in a airport hotel! No bath in room. Pillows uncomfortable and room a bit hot, but clean and good size. Disappointing the next morning to get the shuttle at 8am my son and I was last in the que and the bus was full with only standing room, I’ve had surgery so couldn’t stand the journey and was surprised no one offered me a seat! So we had to pay for a taxi- you’d think they’d get a bigger bus for the mornings _‍♀️ I had room service which was ok, club sandwich with handful of chips, very expensive. Was ok but have stayed in much better and surprised me for a MARRIOTT

Close to airport I am a member of the Marriot BonVoy, and therefore I always try to stay with this brand. This time we have one night in Madrid before returning home and I decided to stay close to the airport, which I normally do not do. Sounds like a great idea considering they have a free shuttle to the airport, knowing the traffic is crazy and the cost of the taxi is $30 (US dollars) from the city to the airport. The hotel is the largest in Europe. It is super big. It looks clean and modern. Unfortunately, because of Covid, most of the amenities are closed. We had dinner in the Champions Bar (sports bar), the only one open. The menu was ok, but they were very short of staff and therefore, taking the order took 20 minutes and bringing the food took 30 minutes more! My son wanted to eat a dessert but the waiter advised us that the kitchen will not be able to do it. This morning we walked up with our trip canceled. Our next flight is the next day. This is the problem because around here is nothing to do. On the positive side, the hotel has a FREE bus going to a shopping mall leaving at 6 and returning at 9:45 pm. The pool is quite small for the size of the hotel. The personnel is fine and very willing but I guess they need more people to work here. It is 4:30 pm and they did not clean the room.
