Incompetent Staff - Not Helpful!!!! Summary: Stay at Another Hotel!!! Door lock issues NEVER resolved combined with TV issues. Platinum Elite Member. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last two years. However, this will be our LAST! Checked in fine… then the “fun” begins. Could not get the TV remote to work – down to the front desk – they give me a “TV” remote, not for Direct TV. Go back down and they give me a second (keep the first) where we were able to watch. But… My room key would not work on my return. Went back downstairs – new keys – still only worked about 10% of the time. Went to the front desk in the AM and asked for new room – fully booked! Would have to either have the staff move all of our belongings when we were gone that day – or – they could have maintenance fix (agreed to the latter). I called the front desk at 5:30 and was told all was well. But… Upon arrival at 9:30 PM, we could not get in. New keys and we finally accessed our room (thanks to “Isiahas” who followed us upstairs. The next morning, same issue. Complained several times including at checkout and was told they would “comp” us with 20,000 points. However, 9 days later… nothing credited to our account. AVOID THIS HOTEL AND USE ANOTHER!!!

Almost FABULOUS! We got in late and exhausted after driving all day in the mountains. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It was the fastest check in we've ever had! (We are IHG Diamond Elite) We had a two bed Studio Suite and it was perfect for the night. Extremely comfy beds, very, very clean room, and well stocked. AND amazingly quiet. As for the 'almost' - the hallway carpets (at the end of the day) could use a little attention, and the parking lot the same. However, with construction everywhere, this shouldn't be a surprise. We are extremely satisfied guests. Thanks for a great stay!

Less class than a roach motel I booked a room for the weekend of 9/9 -9/10 to attend a concert nearby. we drove 6 hrs and arrived at 9 pm. The first thing I noticed when we got out of the car was the amount of trash laying around the property. There is road construction ongoing right in front of the hotel property, so I get there will be some stuff but this all seemed to be litter from the work crews staying there. beer cans, cigarette buts, and wrappers were everywhere. checking in the Front desk attendant was very nice and courteous but by the time when we got our room on the 4th floor, I knew it was going to be nasty. the hallways were filled with garbage bags from guests' rooms and there were empty cans, cups, and takeout bags just left everywhere, there was a half-full beer can sitting in the corner of the elevator on the ride up. The carpets and walls were stained and dirty and the entire floor reeked of pot. One of the first things we did was inspect the bedding and while the bed linen was clean, the pullout sofa was absolutely disgusting! there were dried white splotches on the arms and cushions (RETCH!!) food was in all the crevices and dog hair on everything. The AC vents were totally plugged with visible animal hair and lint, and would not stay latch in place, so not sure how cleaning could not see it. The refrigerator had several long strands of hair on the door shelves that were kinda pasted in place from moving them around with a sponge. The bathroom was ok clean but there was only a partially third full roll of TP and no extra anywhere and only 2 towels and no soaps. The safe did not work and most of the closet doors either were stuck closed or would not stay closed in the bedroom. The Microwave also had burned food still inside on the walls.at least I hope it was food, Now like I said we drove 6 hrs to attend a concert the next day, and I started feely sick about halfway there, thought it would pass with a good night's sleep as we had nonrefundable tickets for Sat night at jiffy lube arena nearby. Tried getting to bed only to have a bunch of people in the lot next door revving up engines and doing burnouts and acting stupid. loud partying till 3 am so no sleep for sure, by 7 am I was in full-blown flu and knew I was not going to make it to the concert, I dreaded trying to make a 6 hr return home trip feeling that bad but there was no way I was going to spend another night there, we decided to check out and go home when we were told we were still going to charge for the full 2 days. we tried calling the corp reservation line and even spoke to the GM and they refused to refund us for the next day's stay. At this point I was so sick I couldn't argue anymore and we just left and thought we would deal with it when we got home. By the time we got back home, I was deathly ill and my wife was now starting to feel really sick herself. we ended up both being bedridden for 4 days and found we both had Covid and as of 9/15, this is the first time I have tried to contact anyone about it. I was told that since We had waited till today to say anything that there was nothing anyone could do about the charges and pretty much too bad. I am an IHG member for 5 years and never had a problem till Candlewood, My job and the company I work for use them a lot for business travel. Not only will I never use a candlewood inn in the future but will never stay at an IHG hotel ever again! 120 bucks might not be a lot to some but it is to us and on top of the trip being ruined by COVID I got shafted by the hotel group and treated like a was trying to cheat them. I don't mind paying for the night we stayed even though it was so subpar there, but don't feel like I should have to eat the second night when we left by 9 am the next morning to go home.
