Great place Very clean and comfortable. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint was the tv, my husband is hard of hearing and I was unable to put close captioning on. We will definitely use Microtel again.

Great service, great food, great bed, great hotel! This was a great hotel, I enjoyed my stay, slept good, and had a great full breakfast. Every interaction with the workers were amazing, I felt so welcome! I have stayed in a lot of hotels for sports, but this is definitely one of the best that I have had to stay in.

New refurbished and pleasnt Newly refurbished and pleasant . The facilities are very nice. The updated rooms are very modern but somewhat strange in that there are no closets or drawers. This might be problem for a longer stay. Also the breakfast was very disappointing. We ended up going out for breakfast. Besides the breakfast we had a great stay.

Not Clean or Safe This is the first negative review that I have left a hotel in over twenty years of traveling. The location is next to broken down complexes off of the highway with abandoned shopping carts sitting outside. Starting with the elevator and working your way towards the rooms, the place is filthy. The toilet had not been cleaned, there was hair all over the floor, and there were yellow pee stains on the comforter. We stayed for twenty minutes and tried to clean it up, but we abandoned the idea and checked out immediately. Even after showing the stains to the front desk and asking for a refund, we were refused. I honestly do not believe that some of these other reviews are real. This establishment is not clean.

Awful, disgusting, you’d be better off staying in your car. I understand why it’s called a microtel now. Because the staff does the bare minimum for its guest. Joe at the front desk was rude, and I personally think he should be suspended (unpaid) or fired. I’ve worked customer service and I understand it’s not always easy, but we were more than nice until he laughed in our faces. Tried to talk to him before we left and all he would say is “have a nice day” and that was the nicest thing he did. He got up and walked away while we were talking to him. In our other room we found a used shampoo bottle (provided by the “hotel”), hair from previous guest, and a used wash rag in the shower curtain. If your receptionist is going to be rude to guest, you could at least ensure that your guest will have a clean room at the bare minimum.
