Never been to such a heartless place in my life, when they messed up. I have stayed at the red roof in several times and it’s a so so hotel but it’s close to my friend I’m visiting. I was happyish. Until tonight. I booked a room for 3 nights and when I arrived they told me they didn’t have any rooms despite showing them my reservation. The hotel sent a confirmation number but would not honor it. They said call the agent the next day but would not provide a room for the night. Stating they only had a suite. I asked to use the bathroom they stated they didn’t have one. I called my agent and they tried to work out the issue while taking to them I had to walk 1/4 To use a rest room. While gone they kicked my travel companion and her son out of the lobby. We were left in Austin without a car, no room, or even a place to sit while talking to the Agent. When the agent came back they told me the hotel was saying they didn’t have a suite either. I’m looking forward to seeing them respond with the simple we are working on this that I’ve seen on every bad review but they don’t seem to do anything to actually fix this or to redeem themselves.

So-so. They have no elevator and the on screen guide for the TV didn't work. There was no channel guide in the room and they only clean the rooms every other day. I would have stayed somewhere else if I'd known.

Clean and modern rooms The rooms were very clean, and the rooms had a modern look. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked questions about the area and places to eat. They have good amenities! We will come back again!

You Get What you pay for My husband and I stayed here due to convenience to a family affair in Manor since it is the only hotel in town. We truly only needed a place to sleep. It was after 3a when we arrived and asked for a late check-out which was 12 noon (normal check-out is 11a). At approximately 9:20a, we were abruptly awakened by what seemed to be loud knocking on the door; they wanted to ensure we were checking out at 11a. After that, we couldn't go back to sleep but continued to lay in bed. While I was in the shower, my husband said that a man just unlocked the door and walked into the room; he was also checking to see if we were going to check-out at 11a. Upon checking out, my husband mentioned the issue to the gentleman and his excuse was, " sometimes people just leave and leave their key in the rooms; we have to check!" I find that to be a tactic to encourage people to check-out early so that they can finish cleaning the rooms sooner. This was very poor customer service and a bad reflection on the hotel industry, what bad internal communication as to who is or is not checking out. At 9:20a, what difference does it make if we were checking out at 11a or not? I could understand if it was 10:30a or 10:45a and that's if we hadn't been granted a noon check-out! In the event that we require a hotel room in Manor again, we will NOT be returning to the Red Roof Inn and instead will go the Holiday Inn in Elgin (a better brand) or just drive into the outskirts of Austin.

Disrespect We arrived a little after 3AM and requested a checkout of at least Noon. Shortly after 9AM the "cleaning lady" started knocking on the door disrupting our sleep. After telling her that we have a late checkout (12 noon) which is something she should have known, another "guy" just comes in unannounced while my wife is in the shower. What is going on in this establishment?
