Great place to stay. Spent 11 days here. Room was very neat and clean. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice option that they have is...they have either the "hotel ', or "motel" option. Very conveniently located. Just minutes south of Marquette, or near a little village of Harvey. Will definitely stay here again.

Econolodge nightmare Terrible! My sheets had a couple of brown specks in them. When I brushed my hand over them to see if they were embedded in the sheets or something on top, I felt something under the sheet on top of the mattress cover. I found what was either a hard dead bug or bug egg. The mattress pad was stained and disgusting looking. I asked them to change the sheets and mattress pad. When I got back that evening, they had not. They also needed to unstop the sink and said they would. They did not do it. Thankfully there was a small second sink that worked. The finish was peeling off of the tub. And the door frame around the bathroom door looked like it was falling apart. I'll be contacting the Marquette health department to let them know what a mess this place is.

Budget Stay but excellent location This property was what I would expect from a budget stay. It was clean but not spotless, updated but not entirely kept up. The location absolutely cannot be beat for the price point as you are right across the road from beautiful Lake Superior. The property advertises as offering breakfast but the breakfast offerings are minimal. Online it just says breakfast but when you check in they explain they have a basic grab and go breakfast. And it is very basic. We were hoping for a bit more.

Clean room with beautiful view! Very clean room! Stayed in a second floor balcony room and the view of the lake was beautiful. The room is a little outdated but very clean. We were happy and stayed the whole week here while going on adventures in the surrounding areas. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast.

Not the cleanest around This has been our go to place to stay in MQT. In the past 2 years it continues to go downhill, rooms are filthy, outside doors to buildings do not close and lock. Breakfast, well they should not even bother, cold premade cheese omelets, cold sugar cereals, white bread for toast. The waffle maker is gone. Room service is non existent. The same person checks us in every month and does not remember us at all, mind you we travel with dogs, and have same request every time. We stayed in January, it snowed overnight no one plowed, or shoveled I fell in the parking lot and injured myself. I reported it, asked for someone to shovel, the girl at the desk said she would get to it when there was no one around. I asked for a number to call and she did not have one. I never heard from anyone. If it wasn’t for the beautiful morning view, and central location we would find another pet friendly location.
