Mutt J. Daniel This Hotel needed some paint and facia cleaning up, but once inside everthing was fine. The front desk clerks were friendly and professional. The indoor pool was nice and we had a room right next to the pool on the inside of the Hotel. The breakfast had saugage, eggs, toast, bagels, ceral, milk, orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice and coffee. Also had make your own waffles which were good also. I forgot the yogurt and fresh fruits, but you get the point, it had something for everyone. The best part was it was free or at least included in the rooms price. The restuarant across the street ( Bandanas ) had 5 meals for less than $6.00 ( actually $5.19 and was great, plus you got your meal in 5 minutes or less. There was also an Waffle house next door which was a nice touch also. Probably the best value I've had in a Hotel in a couple of years.

Do not recommend We chose this hotel because of the pool, wifi and free breakfast. The pool closed early the night we arrived, opened late the next morning, the wifi signal was weak in our room and we couldn't use it. The bagels at breakfast had mold on them and the coffee was luke warm. The toilet had skidmarks and the bath tub was dirty. I brought all these matters to the attention of the front desk and they just said, "sorry."

Not the worst...not the best The property in general is worn down and just needs a few hundred thousand thrown in to it to spruce up the exterior and to update the interior. My room 310 was a typical budget room. Two full size beds that sag in the middle. The tv worked but there were several burned out bulbs. Housekeeping was outstanding and provided all we asked for. The a/c unit was noisy but it actually drowned out the crowd in the atrium that was carrying on well past 10pm. The shower was in good shape but there was mold on the shower curtain. Otherwise the toilet flushed and the sink had hot water so it met my needs. The carpet definitely needs replaced throughout the hotel. The lobby is in good shape and the front desk was very pleasant to work with. Overall it's a good place for the price. I wish they would replace the carpet, update the rooms and replace the broken ice machines. My only real complaint to the front desk is that most of the bulbs in the atrium are burned out. So kids swimming past sundown are hard to see despite the sunroof. Quality Inn Corporate please replace the light bulbs and spruce up this hotel!!!

Terrific budget hotel, great for kids, good breakfast Keep in mind that this is a budget hotel, so it is showing its age and could use some paint in the common area, but it offers a lot for a good price. + indoor pool surrounded by a fence, pleasant temperature + large room w space for 4 in our family + fairly good breakfast with the option to make waffles + microwave and fridge in some of the rooms - our microwave had mold growing in it and needed to be cleaned + good price at $59 + easy access from I-270 - room was dark without many outlets for us to charge our electronics - double beds rather than queen Overall, a good bargain for what we got -

Older, but very well maintained, facility..stayed here before. There are some parts of this stay that rate almost a 5...but I ran into a few problems. First the good points: Check-in was quick and friendly. From the doors that do not fit into the frame completely to the old style TV that looks like they must be using an HD converter to the remote that had the battery holder tabs broken off to the worn spots on the chair arms..you are able to tell the facility was not built yesterday. However,I have never had a room that was cleaner. Whoever is doing housekeeping should be teaching other places how to do their job! The pool was excellent. The water was warmer than the air and we really enjoyed our time in the pool. There were plenty of extra towels you could pick up, thus there was no need to use your room towels. The pool claimed to be 9 foot deep and I really think it was. The breakfast on Saturday was keep well-stocked and it had a good variety of items, including two waffle makers. Now the negative: We had a question...I stood by the check-in desk for ten minutes and could not get anyone to respond...In addition, we called the hotel operator (twice) and could not get an answer. Fortunately, it was not serious. We could not get the water to turn off in the tub completely and so we just let it run. The last day it did finally turn off, so it is possible we were just not doing something right! In addition, there were only two towels in the room, but we picked up some pool towels without any problem. The breakfast bar does not have any accommodations for special diets (this is not uncommon). However, I will not give a 5 unless this is done. You filled cups full of batter to make the waffles, but there were no instructions I could find which told you how to use the waffle irons or tell you how much batter to use. The breakfast bar was terrible the next day. It was barely stocked. I am not talking food items..i was going to make oatmeal and I could not even find a bowl! The bar looked more like a garbage dump than a breakfast bar. We arrived late - about 45 minutes before the close - so perhaps they do not keep it up - since we arrived early the day before - I would say - Do not get there late! This very bad breakfast bar episode was the main reason I marked them down to a 3 from a 4.
