Know before you go... We stayed at this Hampton Inn for 7 days on a business trip. It took an extra 1.5 hours to get into our room because the cleaning staff was running behind. Inside our room was a sign that advised housekeeping would be every other day. We never had housekeeping. We stopped a maid in our hallway and asked for clean towels the 4th day we were there. One elevator stopped working. We placed a 911 call from our truck behind the convention center when shots were fired. A number of people in our group involved in an outdoor exercise took cover behind cars/trucks in the parking lot. There is a $10/day parking fee paid online. We assumed that maybe there was security in the parking lot to account for the parking fee, but our vehicle was still broken into on our last day there. Rooms were clean and comfortable, room lighting dim. Front desk staff tried to be accommodating, but they were obviously overwhelmed; housekeeping wasn't the only area understaffed. Breakfast was OK, the 24/7 coffee bar was taken down just after breakfast closed at 10am, and the pool was closed. Lunch was offered; prices were very high. I would look for accommodations elsewhere if I found myself in Mesquite again.

Outrageous Parking Fees Went to visit a friend that was in town from out of state. We sat in the lobby for approx 1.5 hours and visited. Then I left. I had parked in the half empty front parking lot. Now, weeks later I receive a “Parking Ticket” in the mail from “Municipal Parking Services. Enforcement Department” for $75.82. For 90 MINUTES! And if not paid within the next 2 weeks it is then $115.82. This is a MAJOR RIPOFF! Guess I’m lucky my vehicle was not stolen based on the other reviews! Parking should NEVER be this high! Not for a mid budget hotel in a NON downtown prime area. I’m familiar with this area and would never have thought that a hotel in that area would be charging guests to park. And sure not anyone that stops by for a bit and get this rate of $45 PER HOUR! It’s not that much to park anywhere in Downtown Dallas! Not even NYC charges that! The front desk person had even walked by and spoke to us briefly and never once said anything about paying to park, and she knew I was not staying there as we mentioned I came by to visit. NO! I will NOT be paying this! What do they do for food delivery drivers as it appears they take a picture of the plate when you enter and leave the parking lot. I guess the local food delivery drivers all know not to deliver there. If visiting this area, find somewhere else to stay!

Poor customer service and unsafe This hotel is not in a good location. I agree with the reviews about parking. In addition to the payment, parents’ car was stolen out of the parking lot. While talking in the lobby, another customer heard them talking about it and his car was stolen too. The lack of care shown by management was extremely disappointing. They were not very accommodating.

Watch out for the parking! Even if parking is included they still will ticket you. Parking is a scam! A month later I get a "parking ticket" from some company in Louisiana demanding $75.82 or they're threatening to tow away my vehicle. When I checked in I was asked for my license plate number and the person behind the desk wrote it down but apparently didn't enter it into whatever system they have. Also, the ground floor is the 2nd floor, right off the lobby, so it can be noisy. Probably wouldn't have stayed there again because of noise but definitely won't after getting a parking ticket!

Disgusting, pick another property Hotel was disgusting with trash cans overflowing all over the resort, including behind the registration desk. As I walked to the room, the rug was dirty and more overflowing trash cans were everywhere. When we got off the elevator, the trash can was overflowing and it stunk. Finally when we entered the room, it wasn’t clean. We immediately returned to the front desk and told the on manager we were leaving because his facility was a pigsty. He didn't seem to care!… I would recommend not staying here if you’re a clean person.
