Another day on the big road I've stayed at a lot of motels and suites across this country and this motel was the best of all. Staff was SO caring and wanted to make sure your stay was remembered and enjoyed. During the freeze they brought food for everyone because nobody could leave due to the ice on the road. The rooms were clean, plenty of Hot water warm rooms, easy to get to everything and shopping is right down the road. Do make this your place to stay.

Okay experience The hotel seemed clean and they served a nice breakfast. Would be nice if it extended a little longer than 9:00 a.m. There were a few things in the room that needed repair. The sink outside the bathroom was dripping and the faucet handle was broken. Above the bed was a large crack in the ceiling. And the ac didn't really cool very well so it was hard to sleep. Around the bathtub faucet was a metal plate that was broken and just spinning. Small issues except for the ac but when there are so many things needing repair it makes it look like the hotel is not being maintained well. The lobby is small and the girl at the front desk seemed really bored with her job. But we would still stay there again because it did seem clean. Just not in the summertime when you need the ac to work.

Better options in the area Run of the mill hotel, rooms average, price average. Breakfast is poor and staff is unenthusiastic.Stay on the area often and would not stay here again. There are better options in the area for similar price.

Great Hotel in Mexia Hotel really is nice. Being out the "middle of nowhere" you would expect less, but you don't have to. Room was ready and clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job the next day while I was out. Everything you expect and more.

Nice The room was nice and clean, continental breakfast was decent, my kids loved the waffles and chocolate muffins. Would be nice to have bottles of water and extra towels in the rooms, but overall a good experience.
