Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Middleboro Raynham by IHG

Clean and comfortable, friendly staff I wish we had more than 1 night at this place. The staff was incredibly friendly. Loads of space in the room and the bathroom to spread out. The beds were comfortable, and the shower... I could have stayed in there all day. Really good water pressure - it felt like a massage! Easy to get to, easy parking, and good, FREE breakfast. The only negative was the fitness center - it was really small.

Great IHG hotel Clean, practical and efficient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location excellent for our needs. Stoney’s Bar has fabulous South Shore Bar Pizza. We come here every few months to visit family. We live in North Adams in The Berkshires.

Holiday Inn Raynham We stayed at this hotel over Christmas. Upon arrival, there were other people being checked in, with only one attendant at the desk. I did not think this was a major issue, but it was pretty late, and I was ready to get settled into my room. The front desk associate tried his best to accommodate everyone as much as he could. I think they need to provide another person at the front desk or better training so things could move a bit more quickly. We were given our room and when we arrived at the room, the lock was broken. The door closed, but it would not lock. I called the front desk and explained the situation and we were given another room. We go to the second room, and there was no linen on the beds and the mattress' was severely stained. I called the front desk again and had to get a new room. The last room I was given was decent. However, the refrigerator did not work, the bathroom was not very clean, and the HVAC unit did not properly work. It was old, loud and although the controller was on the wall, it did not work, and we had to use the dial on the unit. I replied to the survey they sent, but once I explained the bad experience I had, they never responded. So, that tells me a lot about Holiday Inn and IHG and how much they really don’t care about their customers. The good about the hotel. Free parking and breakfast. The property is located convenient off the highway and parking is plentiful. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports. TV had plenty of channels and the internet was pretty good. I wish I could say something about the complimentary coffee or cookies, but the coffee containers weren’t filled, and the cookies and snacks were not replenished while I was there. Room service doesn't bother you at all which is nice when you’re trying to sleep in late, they do knock once but are not bothersome at all. They do need maintenance or at least someone who is on call to fix issues that happen in the hotel. There were smokers who stood right at the front door and smoked. I wish the front desk associates would have told them to move or the hotel had a designated smoking area besides the bench at the front door. I have no desire to return to this location. I don’t suggest this hotel and the next time I am in the area I will find somewhere else to stay.

Just want to have more than one garbage can I was really hoping this would be a nice property but I do not think I would chose to stay here again. Stayed two nights. Property located convenient off the highway and parking is plentiful. As others have mentioned, appears to have a greater than average number of smokers who smoke at the exterior entrances and the fumes easily enter the property. The lobby is nice and check in was smooth. 4 floors elevator was quick. The problem I had was with the room. There does not appear to be any maintenance. There are quite a few upgrades, but also quite a few broken items that did not work. Bathroom vanity area was new and lit well. Bathtub was several decades old and stained but clean hopefully. Hot water and pressure plentiful. HVAC unit was cool but loud and decades old as one could hardly read the control dial. Light fixture to one side of bed was broken off and hanging. Smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling. Air vent in the bathroom was dirty and in need of a cleaning. Could not open one of the two blinds. Bed was cushy and soft. One garbage can for the entire room which was annoying. Plenty of up to date outlets and USB. TV plenty of channels. Internet was just so-so and not strong but managed to not experience and drops. Awesome desk chair. So in summary some items are new, in good shape and up to date like the chair but then there is a broken lite fixture and smoke detector in the room?

Would stay again Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice free breakfast. Exactly what I want from a hotel! Also, free chocolate chip cookies at the front desk!! Kids also used the pool, and while small, they had a great time. Would stay again if in the area.
