Definitely a nice place to stay! As this was our first time staying in Midland, we were very pleased with our stay at Sleep Inn! Our top priority was that the room would be clean! Not only was it clean, but it was also modern. It had a good-sized fridge and microwave, and the bed and pillows were comfortable! Honestly, the only negative was the coffee from the machine, so I just picked up Starbucks just around the corner.

Sanitation could be improved. We’ve stayed here a few times in the past 12 months. We’ve always been satisfied. The last time we stayed here i found something that belonged to the last guest which always makes me wonder about sanitation but i chalked that one up to an anomaly. This time we found a note left from another guest that indicated housekeeping needed to do a better job and was left to get someones attention and apparently didnt. Ironically the note was left in a very conspicous place and we found it within 5 minutes and its unclear how conscientious housekeepers can miss it. We didnt see anything disgusting in our room but It begs to wonder if they cant see a 4”X6” piece of paper what all germs and bodily fluids are also being left behind. I guess we’ll have to find a new favorite lodging in Midland.

Bad refund policy We are not happy with their refund policy. We accidentally booked the wrong location online and politely died for refund. We were flat out refused. Their refund policy is strict no matter what the circumstances. Once they have your money they keep it. Disreputable policy.

Seeing Dow Gardens Great shower and bathroom for sure. Plenty of room for a man my size. The rooms were small however the beds were pretty nice. The fridge nice and quiet and the room kept us comfortable. The breakfast was okay but not outstanding. Could use some help there. Biscuits and gravy a must. Didn’t use the pool but some people did and it looked fun I would come back

It covers all the bases and then some! Whenever we have gone to Midland to watch the G.L. Loons or go to Dow Gardens we have stayed at Sleep Inn. The staff are friendly, the breakfast has both good hot and cold offerings. They even have complimentary chocolate chip cookies and hot and cold beverages for the guests in the lobby. Overall, it covers all the bases and then some!
