What You’d Expect Stayed here for a business trip for a couple days. The room smelled musty/moldy and the building/property are in dire need of updating. Room was mostly clean besides the smell and old carpet. Front desk workers were nice. I had to have the room key card reactivated everyday. There’s a truck stop on the same property and if you have a room facing the back lot, you’ll have to listen to trucks idling all night long.

Never staying here again! This is the third time that we have stayed in this particular EconoLodge. Because we have had good experiences in the past, we didn't hesitate to stay this time. HOWEVER, there was a marked difference in the cleanliness of our room from previous stays. I have a lung disorder, and although the room was marked as "non-smoking" it was obvious that someone had been smoking in the room - it was extremely musty smelling no matter how much the air conditioner ran. The hotel was completely booked because of an area event (race) that we were NOT even participating in, and we paid an exorbitant price for a sub, sub par room. Very disappointing, especially for the price we paid! It was in no way a good value and we will no longer be considering this as an option for lodging when we are in the area.

Not Clean We stayed here on the way back from a Penn State night game. The people are nice and the lobby has a friendly vibe but our room was very basic and did not appear to be vacuumed. Has not been renovated in quite some time.

What a plesant surprise Stopped here on my way to State College. This Econo Lodge was a perfect place to stay for the night. It is a quick hop off the highway and very easy to find. It was well lit with easy parking. The lady at the desk could not have been better. Friendly, helpful and when I said I was alone made sure I had an inside room. I originally asked for the back but she said that it is sometimes noisy because of the trucks so gave me a front facing room. As for the room, it was terrific. New manufactured hardwood floors, granite counter tops in the bathroom and a bed that was more comfortable than my bed at home. My only wish was an extra blanket or quilt but the room was warm and it did not really need it. Morning staff was just a nice. I would stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.
