Pleasant stay in Minden During our trip through America, we stopped in Minden for three nights. We received a friendly welcome and were informed of all the facilities available. The breakfast buffet was attractive and up to Holiday Inn standards. A friendly hotel employee continuously cleared away used dishes and kept the buffet tidy. From our point of view, we can only make a small deduction in the room cleaning service. On the second day of our stay, there was no room cleaning. Actually, no problem at all after only one day, but our waste filled up and the toilet paper ran out. However, upon request at the front desk, we received both new toilet paper and fresh towels. All in all, we are very satisfied.

VERY INTERESTING AND STRANGE STORY VERY INTERESTING STORY. I booked 2 rooms for me and my husband and a second room for my mom. They settled in a dirty room, after that they apologized, after 1 day they did not do the daily cleaning. On the second night of my stay in the hotel it was very noisy, I was in the second month of pregnancy and I was broken. After that night, my husband and I went down to the reception to say that it was very noisy and we didn't get enough sleep. In response, we heard that the general manager Lisette Polson said that she was forcibly evicting us because she thought that we were a nuisance for her life. We asked her why she was evicting us like dogs, she replied that she was God here and it was up to her to decide what to do on private property. She said she would call the police and we would be arrested. We were late for skiing and couldn't wait for the police. Lisette said she was evicting both rooms. And she asked our whole family to clean up in 30 minutes. We are Russian and we studied English at school. The level of our English is not professional, but we understood the attitude of Lisette Polson very well. We videotaped our entire conversation. We've traveled a lot, but we've never seen such rudeness and lack of education from a general manager. Strange attitude to customers for money. We paid for the bad service, the rudeness, the tremendous stress. In the second month of pregnancy, I was very nervous. It was very disappointing for such an attitude. I do not advise you to live in this hotel, because you can be forcibly evicted for your money. The general manager said we had a bad temper. I have worked at Crown Plaza Moscow for 12 years and I know the level of service and standards of the IHG company. I always go to IHG hotels. But this is the first time I've seen this. In the future, I am afraid to live in IHG hotels. Improve service, change staff. Very unprofessional employees. Rudeness and violation of rights. Dismiss Lisette Polson. We have traveled a lot in the USA, Europe, Asia and have never seen such an attitude. Lisette Polson, the god of the hotel, talked to us so that we felt like we were not human for our own money.

the manager is rude and out of controll When I attended a business meeting today, the background music was very loud. To the point it was hard to hear the speaker, even through closed doors. I went to ask the front desk if they could to tone it down a bit. She said no, and that they were recently ticketed by the corporate office, because they had no music. When I asked to just lower it , not turn it off, she told me she didn't like my attitude! I returned to the meeting, and after it was over , the women came into the room, identified herself as the manager, and told me I had to leave, because I was no longer welcome at her hotel. She also accused me of using foul language, repeating the f*** over several times in front of the whole group. I protested, that she put words in my mouth, that I would never use. She called the police at that point. I will no longer patronize your facilities, because of your tolerance of employees with this extreme behavior. But I am deeply concerned, the Douglas County feels this is the appropriate way to treat customers.

Great stay This hotel looks new and modern. We had a great stay. The front desk was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good too. They also have coffee available all day which is super convenient. Indoor pool and jacuzzi.

It’s not the worst, but not the best either. I spent five days here for a business trip and was really disappointed. The hotel itself looked very nice and was kept extremely clean, which is a huge plus. However the rooms could certainly use some work. I stayed in a king bed room and was expecting the bed to be somewhat comfortable. This was not the case. The bed was bumpy, lumpy and as felt as if I was sleeping on the box spring. The walls are insanely thin. I could hear full conversations from the other occupants on either side of me and was graciously woken up every morning by the sounds of either the wake up calls or their individual phone alarms. Not only that, the toilets flushing and showers from the bedroom above me. So all in all, the hotel wasn’t awful but certainly needs either some upgrades in the way of beds and noise. I would stay here again only if there wasn’t anything else available.
