Solid stay. Amazing help desk!! I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for an event at the convention center. Very Very close by. I originally booked another Hilton but they had issues with their AC unit being down. Rooms were available here last minute and they got us situated quickly. Had an issue with the bill and the original person I spoke with wasn't helpful and told me to call in to the manager (Ellen?). When I called back, Jody was amazingly helpful and was able to resolve it. Totally went from a 3.5* to a 5* stay because I was taken care of. In general: The beds were a bit stiffer than I like, but it is hard to complain. Rooms were clean. The shade lowering unit was a bit faulty and got stuck. The breakfast was $12-$13 for mediocre options, but the $18 version was very good since you could get french toast made to order and other things like bacon and omelettes. They use the Zero% brand liquids (Shampoo, bodywash, etc) from Gilchrist & Soames which I absolutely love. Overall the stay was normal / slightly above average. I travel a lot and it could be far worse.

The cons outweigh the pros I’ll start with the positive: if you are staying at the conference center it is nearby, my room was clean, and the lobby was updated and comfortable. However, there were so many issues with my stay I would not stay there again. 1. The road noise from my room was unbearable. It was so loud and I couldn’t sleep. I imagine it’s like this for the entire section of rooms (even numbers, south wing) that overlook the double decker highway directly below the windows. 2. This hotel is not secure. I sat in the lobby for about an hour from 6-7 am waiting for a coffee delivery and there was a constant stream of unhoused individuals coming in off the street for the free coffee and the lobby bathrooms. Staff didn’t seem to care at all. 3. Even for someone who was attending an event at the conference center, this location was very inconvenient. It’s in a corner of the city with nowhere to eat or shop, and it’s not connected to the skyway. Would not stay here again.

Excellent location for the conference center, great staff An obvious choice if you need the conference center. It's a three minutes walk door to door. The hotel is clean and efficient, the room is spacious and quiet, and the staff is most friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good value for money and saves time (and weather exposure). There was a mix-up with my reservation which couldn't be found when I arrived at midnight. The front desk person, a Mr. Omar, showed exceptional care and initiative and solved the problem in the best possible way. I would definitely come back for the next conference. The location is also OK for much of downtown (~10 minutes walk)

Great Restaurant & Convenient Hotel Good elite recognition (Diamond) at this hotel. Was able to get a room at check -in on my preferred floor (10th, top floor). Room was clean and had ample storage space. Bed was very comfortable, however the covers were a bit thin. Centrally located to most parts of downtown and the convention center. Restaurant was fantastic! Way above my expectations for a Hilton Garden Inn; desserts espicially were superb and fast service for to-go (back to room) orders. Overall I would not hesitate to stay here again if I needed to be close to the convention center!
