Another enjoyable stay Another great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto airport Comfortable, clean room. Friendly, helpful staff and good food in the restaurant with excellent staff. There is a shuttle to the airport. We didn’t have to use it this time - but have in the past and it was very efficient We always use this hotel traveling through Toronto and will do again

Mixed- probably wouldn’t stay here again Mixed opinions of this place. Check in was great and the lady gave us an extra two hours for late checkout for free which was kind. The restaurant on the other hand was not great. The service was poor compared to the standard you get typically in Canada and more expensive! Breakfast which we thought was included wasn’t and to our surprise we were billed $25 each. If we had been pre-warned of the price then we would have gone elsewhere as we don’t eat a lot for breakfast. Room was clean but the air con was poor, loud and didn’t cool the room. Gym was fine, pool was closed.

Mediocre Nestled amongst migrant hotels funded by the Canadian taxpayers, you’ll first notice all the men sitting on the curbs and the lawns. The shuttle from the airport was the highlight- friendly and funny driver. She was quick to grab our suitcases on and off the bus. The checkin was fine. We had been traveling all day and arrived late due to delays, so we grabbed a salad, cheese and fruit tray, 2 waters and a coke from the pantry - $55! Robbery! The salad had dry chicken and black avocado. The cheese tray had rotted grapes. The room was surface clean, I know to bring my own disinfectant wipes to a Toronto airport hotel, so I cleaned all surfaces. (Probably been awhile based upon how dirty my 6 wipes were after wiping everything down). I couldn’t find the TV remote, I found 2 candies, a wad of hair and a tissue under beds though. I called down for a remote and was told that they would bring one up. 40 minutes later no remote so I went down to the front desk. Eventually, one was delivered to our room. Beds were very soft and lumpy, but the AC was great. Next morning, another good shuttle ride and I thankfully left the Toronto airport area.

No help with billing problem I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of the month. On check-out, I noticed that I had been charged twice $30 for parking. I asked the front desk person to refund my credit card and I was told it would be dealt with. Despite a subsequent phone call reminding them to sort this out, nothing has happened. Maybe this message will prompt a response.

Disappointing Hilton Experience The good: Check-in allowed my early check-in request (1-hour early). The not so good: Worst bed I’ve slept in ANY Hilton property for 20-years. Way under standards. TV channels entirely lost for 30-min the one night we stayed. No answer after several attempts to contact front desk by phone. I responses to chats in app ever. Parking gates on exit only worked once - other times I had to buzz. Do yourself a favour, pick another of the many airport hotels within a few blocks.
