Good Budget Option Decent budget hotel. We stayed here on our way out to Black Canyons and it was a good location. For the price it was a nice room. Seems clean and the bed was comfy. My only real complaint was the sink at no space for toiletries. Otherwise fine experience for the price.

Very sad. Won’t stay again This is a Motel 6 with a BW price. How they are associated with BW is beyond me. The staff was nice, the room was clean, but…. The exterior door on the extra building we were in did not lock. Broken in the room, door lock and faucet. Old TV and old everything else in the room. Chair was also broken at the desk. Missing was a chair that every other King room I’ve stayed at has. Paint was chipping everywhere. Very sad. Will never stay here again or recommend.

Worst hotel I have stayed in for years! I knew when I booked this was not a great hotel. It was last minute and one of the few places available. It was horrible. The hotel was pretty run down. Our room was right next to the front desk and was really noisy. The A/C was so loud we couldn't use it at night. The refrigerator didn't work. The toilet and shower were super loud when in use. The wall had holes in it. Looked like they had moved the TV but didn't bother to patch the wall. The carpet was filthy. Towels were pretty dingy. On our last night a bug was crawling on my husband in bed. (We stayed 3 nights) We asked about moving rooms after the first night. We were told we could but when we returned to the hotel after being out of cell range all day the night clerk told us we could not. She was rude and smelled of cigarettes. The two desk clerks that worked during the day were nice and tried to be helpful. The free breakfast was okay until we noticed that the cooler with the chilled items was at °55. Yuck! Creamers were not kept chilled either. Lots of health code violations at this place! We were actually told to leave a bad review as that is the only way the manager might actually fix something. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Solid for the Price Rooms go for around $100 per night, which seems pretty reasonable. It's only a short drive to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. There are a few restaurants nearby the hotel for dinner or breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillow was a little lumpy. Also, whoever installed the curtains in our room has clearly never heard of the concept of "measure twice, cut once." The whole thing was offset probably 1.5-2 feet to the right of where the window is, so that there were several inches of window on the left side that were uncovered by the curtains (see picture). This meant that you couldn't possible block out the light coming from outside. On the right side, nearly 2 feet of wall was covered by the curtains instead.

Passing through town Clean. Comfy beds. Could hear noise from hallway and parking lot outside windows. Did not hear highway noise. Convenient to walk to Mexican restaurant across the street. Staff at desk were polite. We would stay there again when in Montrose
