Great stay! We had a wonderful 4 night stay! The room was a great size, the best were comfy, and breakfast was fantastic. The staff was so nice and super helpful!! We loved the location and easy drive to all the places we wanted to visit. Will definitely stay here again if heading to this area!

Do Not Stay Here While my husband and I were in Morehead City searching for a new home for our upcoming military relocation, we made the mistake of booking a room at this hotel. Despite the high price we paid, we expected our belongings to be safe and untouched while we were out. However, thanks to the hotel's housekeeping staff, we left feeling extremely violated. Our possessions were rifled through, items were stolen, and we had to involve the police which lead to felony arrests. All that management did was apologize and tell us that the situation would be dealt with, but still allowed their head housekeeper who was the source of this whole situation to remain on the premises. Military moves are already stressful, and dealing with this level of disgust only added to our burden.

ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS! We were at the Holiday Inn Express for only one night, as we drove to Morehead City to pick-up a puppy. After reading a couple of reviews that felt the hotel was less than satisfactory, we picked it due to it's ideal location for us. We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival to find that the lobby, hallways as well as our room were spotlessly clean! The hot breakfast included in the price, was more than adequate to start the morning. I am happy to share, that in our experience, the hotel was ideal as it was clean convenient and that front desk staff more than willing to help with any questions! We had an as good or better experience than in many more upscale luxury hotels we have stayed in through many years of travel.

Great place to stay! We stayed for 2 nights and the experience was great! The front desk clerk Cynthia was very helpful and friendly, check in was a breeze. The lobby and public areas were very clean and bright. The room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was well stocked w scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits as well as pancake and pastries. Overall a wonderful place to stay and well located w easy access from main roads.

Home away from home Nadia at the front desk was delightful to work with I believe she's a huge asset to your property. The room was very spacious, the amenities were incredible, and we love the fact you have an onsite pool, we will definitely be taking advantage of that this coming summer.
