Nice stay My family and I stayed here while moving our daughter into her dorm at WVU. Room was clean.....except for what appeared to be mold spots around the edge of the tub/shower. Beds were comfortable..staff was friendly and breakfast was tasty. Would probably stay again.

Not impressed We stayed here for 2 nights because my daughter was graduating from WVU. The price was ridiculous for the quality. We paid over $320 a night (which I know was inflated because of graduation) for a hotel room that was not clean and cheaply put together. The first thing we noticed when we got in the room was that the toilet wasn’t completely clean, there appeared to be feces on the side of the bowl which was disgusting. The carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed and the dresser had smears of something on it. I would have complained then and there but my husband and son hate when I do that _. The other thing was that the bathroom door was so thin and cheap and would not stay open so if you’re trying to get ready, the door is shut the whole time unless you hold it open with your foot. The only thing I liked about this Hampton was the keyless entry which is much better than having to keep track of a key all the time. For the amount of money we were charged, I would have expected something a lot nicer.

Complimentary Food Poisoning I was disappointed in the lack of customer service and care. Had food poisoning after having their cereal, employee personally told me I had drank expired milk! Nothing was done, not even a simple incident report written out. Upset to see a Hampton Inn so trashy. If you must stay here, I would recommend to not eat any of their food and to expect staff to throw any problems under the rug.

Great apot Had a great visit in Morgantown and the location is in the heart of the town. Great room, clean and wonderful friendly staff. Would return when in the area! Breakfast was very good and eating area was very clean and quiet.

Overpriced for the quality of the hotel. The room was not maintained well. First the positive things: The continental breakfast was very good and the coffee was good. The location was the most convenient for the medical office we needed to go to. The Applebees restaurant being so close was a pleasant surprise. The room TV was good. The negative things: The furnishings were meager with a tiny lobby. The furnishing in the King room looked like chip board discount furniture store stuff. There was no closet, only a cheap looking two door wardrobe set in the corner behind the permanent end table so you could only open one door. The coat rack was hanging loose on the wall with the anchors almost out of the wall. the security device was also loose on the left of the door. The commode was so low it reminded me of an Asian toilet. I fixed the chain on the toilet because it was running all the time. The heating system sounded like a steam engine running all night. Housekeeping only does the room every other day. I would stay there again only because of my age and how close the hotel is to where the medical center is located. The front desk clerk couldn't tell us where the Rockefeller Neurological Institute was, though it was right across the road on the hill with the name in about four foot letters on the front, so we couldn't get directions to drive to it from her.
